Don't want to be that guy, but I'm gonna be that guy. In game 1, when Carlos flipped Chain of Vapor off of Urza's ability, Trinisphere should have still affected it. Meaning because Carlos had to pay 3 mana for Chain, he could not have cast it. Unsure of how this would have changed the game, but it means that Trinisphere would have stayed out. Ben might have still gotten there with his Naus, but just something to remember for next time.
There are key moments in the narrated games that I want to have the insight of narration so I can watch with more information, but the banter is more pleasant to listen to.
Thanks for having me! I gotta say that trinisphere was brutal, but that is how Cedh destiny is sometimes. And the second game was fun! Hindsight is 2020, but I should have kept a better hand, Bryce helped me correct this with his windfall. Good Game all.
Quality games and content as always. The narration was well done, but i can't say that i didn't miss the table talk, lol. I love seeing the interaction and ways spells work with (or against) each other and finding new synergies with which to experiment. My Najeela deck is Angel/Extra combat tribal (with the alternate "rule-0" commanders of Sol, Advocate Eternal and Maelstrom Archangel) which plays much less off of the warrior synergies, and more on the aggravated assault effects, so it's fun to see the variances even within the same generals.
Love these videos. One thing I would love to see that not enough channels do (in my opinion) is more tier 2 or weird commanders. For instance, Animatou Felidar guardian flicker or Alibou artifact damage. It would be cool to see non-meta commanders built for cEDH. Love the content
4:49 with the trinisphere untapped, wouldnt carlos have had to pay three still to cast the chain of vapor without paying its mana cost? My understanding of the good ol’ 3ball is that it completely turns off all methods of free casting spells, whether the spell is cast for an alternate cody or as a result of an ability resolving.
I’m going to have to disagree. If a permanent enters the battlefield under your control and then is stolen by a player the control returns to you when they die. If the card never was under your control (ie, bribery, praetors grasp,) then it will be exiled as it only ever had one controller. It’s a funky setup, but I think we did it correctly. (Rules 800.4a) we do make other mistakes all the time so thanks for the comment though!
The narrated game was good, cuz you're good at it Carlos... but it's fun the natural audio with the back and forth of every player... you should do a narrated gameplay every once in while imo
@@KingdomsTV More like MTG Muddstah. The games are narrated but every once in a while theres a funny moment or a critical aspect of the game and the audio will be in real time with the game of the player's interactions
Can anyone explain how Ben won game 1? I'm new to Magic & EDH and I've only watched casual games where the winner had the MOST life at the end of the game. Ben had 3 life, everyone else had 30+, how did Ben win from a Demonic Consultation?
@KingdomsTV so... Ben won because he had devotion to blue (2, as far as I can tell) that was greater than/equal to the number of cards remaining in his deck? Do I have that right? Or backwards? 😵💫
It's a bit funny to see the tunnel vision cEDH players have. Why pay 3 mana to return a 0 mana artifact when there is a trinisphere in play when you could just return a fetch and ramp. A mystery honestly.
Even now, I'm not sure if I watch this channel because of the unique banter that this channel presents, but I think you have some practice to do before you're on PWP's narration level (not that the video was bad; I'm still going to like the video and this video definitely has its own merits).
I like both personally. It is nice to see the whole game(s) in a few minutes, but it is also nice to hear the back and forth.
Fair enough!
Love the narration, bonus is you can point out mistakes in post that you didn't catch in the game.
Very true!

The biggest difference is I would have had to tap it with Urza. Good call!
@@KingdomsTV Right, of course. Urza does that. I am silly man who does not play Urza. Carry on. Great games.

There really are good pros and cons

Ya the windfall was bad for me, but it is what it is!
I liked it being narrated, but the regular banter is also cool.
Good to know
I’m just sitting here screaming “STOP FEEDING THE FISH” 😂😂
Awesome games as always!
Ya it was bad. I felt okay when getting out the trinisphere but every other time I should have slowed down.

I still prefer the table talk too. We might do it this way every once in awhile in the future.
Loved watching these games! I do prefer hearing game audio, but you did a great job with the narration!
Great feedback!
Both games were amazing Carlos extremely fast I actually love this type of commentary since I’m still new I like to hear all the cards names and stuff
We can do better about doing that in game.
Love these videos. One thing I would love to see that not enough channels do (in my opinion) is more tier 2 or weird commanders. For instance, Animatou Felidar guardian flicker or Alibou artifact damage. It would be cool to see non-meta commanders built for cEDH. Love the content
Deal!
I like the gameplay video. Nejeela is my first cedh. Just got into cedh a month ago. More cedh video like is very helpful to learn the format.
Great feedback!

Ya that was a mistake, I was suppose to tap it.
Been a while since I was able to catch a video from you guys. Love the narration. Def a better way to do vids. Good games everyone.
Watch some of the ones you missed if you can! :)
The game two was very entertaining and love the fact that Matias won with combat damage
That’s why Najeela is so good imo. You have access to all the win conditions
Stoked for Tasigur. Not the powerhouse he used to be but still one of my favorites
Bouncing trinisphere game 1 probably wasn't the best play q
So much value!
Great job on the narration. 😀
Thank you!
Edit: I was wrong. Learning new things is fun. Lol!

Love seeing this narrated cedh 😊content
Good to know! Anything specific you like about it?

Great feedback and thanks!
Great content as always. But I enjoy the listening to the banter and the politics that come with playing EDH, because cEDH is still EDH 😂
I like it too. A bunch of people seem to like the narrated version too so maybe we will have to try both.
Decklist from Najeela!? 😊

The narration is fine, but I think I like the banter more
🙌
I like hearing you guys play.
I prefer it myself, but these videos are for you!
Great video!
Thanks!
I like the narration, but maybe including some funny or key banter would be nice too
Play to win to style?

decklists?
Not this time. Check out our moxfield to see if they made it there
For cEDH it's usually fine to skip most banter, you could always cherry pick some goodies for us?
We could try it!
Love it
❤️

I didn’t know what he was doing either except that maybe he needed the extra mana or color? I think he was trying to get to as naus mana.
More fuel!!

Haha, thanks for the feedback.
Please have normal banter. It is why I enjoyed your show. Now its like playing with power....
I like it too as it brings more of the experience, but this game we only recorded my audio accidentally.
I didnt see a single sliver this game
The First Sliver is sort of red herring
@@KingdomsTV Saw this as the main video for the first sliver on edhrec and wasn’t exactly what I was expecting lol. Great video though!
why is everyone at the table playing there land and then roling for crypt?? thats incorrect order of how the game works
We kept forgetting to roll for crypt, nothing more
Ya just forgetting and then tried to fix some of it in edit.
Why did he bounce the Trini sphere knowing he goes last in rotation after that happens lol. Sometimes I hate cedh because of bad plays
He’s new to cedh, but we all make mistakes in cedh and regular edh too.
