    Winning % -
I believe the Bucks have the best winning percentage since 1951 . Year Woody was hired.

Yah, Notre Dame fan here...unfortunately the "rivalry" isn't much of one at all. We don't play each other enough and Notre Dame hasn't won enough between the two. I don't really see them winning in the Championship either but I hope I'm wrong.

ND has a history of year 3 coaches having success. If ND joins the B10 we'll get this game a lot more

@@Mike-sp7zv Penn State was independent. I figured Notre Dame would follow suit and join big 10 also. Never happened.

ND would be #2 in all-time victories--behind Michigan--had not the NCAA vacated 21 victories due to misconduct on the part of the team's tutor!

ND led in all-time win percentage until Brian Kelly had that player cheat on a final & NCAA vacated 21-wins. Since ND self-reported and suspended him a year, they appealed, citing other schools’ more egregious violations, but NCAA still vacated those wins, dropping them to tied with OSU. WHICH IS WHY many believe NCAA will eventually vacate two years of UM wins where Stallion was on the sideline.

Mark, I read a post on X from John Ziegler and wanted to hear your thoughts on it. He stated....
" Congratulations everyone who wanted this 12-team playoff, you somehow managed to make the two biggest upset losses of the regular season COMPLETELY meaningless, and probably helpful to the teams which got beat… Oh, and neither finalist even played a conference title game!"
I remember in yesteryears watching college basketball and it occurred to me the regular season was always meaningless. I don't watch college basketball now as much but back then the Tourneys produced great games. But I could never tell you about a memorable regular season game. I can tell you about 1992 Duke and Michigan 1993 Fab 5 that called a timeout when they had none left.
What mattered because of March Madness was only the tournament. The regular season means nothing or very little.
So has the new playoff system destroyed the regular season, rivalries and conference title games in College Football?

The answer is yes it has compromised the regular season to a large degree.

NFL Hall of Famers: ND 14, USC 14, Mich 11, OSU 10. CFB Hall of Famers: ND 50, USC 36, Mich 33, OSU 28. Noticed you started in 1970, leaving out many of Ara Parseghian’s wins? NCAA only recognizes 16 of Bama’s titles, and Bama stole one fm Arkansas (1961?) and claims 2 of ND’s AP championships, ‘47 and ‘73. ND has 8 in the AP era, and 3 consensus under Rockne, 1924, 1929-30. Although ND only claims these 11, the NCAA recognizes 13, putting ND at #3 All-Time, behind Yale & Bama. If ND claimed mythical nattys like Bama, A&M and others, it would be in the twenties. OSU can claim 5 AP titles: 1942, ‘54, ‘68, 2002 & 2014. The NCAA recognizes 8 for OSU, tied @ #6 with Harvard, one behind USC, two behind Michigan, 5 behind Notre Dame, and 8 behind Bama. If not for Saban leaving LSU, Bama wouldn’t even be on this map, so Tide fans can thank their lucky charms they had Saban when they did - it was a phenominal run while it lasted. If NCAA ever gets around to vacating every UM win where Stallion was on the sideline, then Michigan will drop from all-time wins.
