This was not available when I visited at the start of the year. I booked a home stay in Kamakhya mountain very close to the temple. It is very good to see the retiring room maintained well

Take it easy Naveen. Next time we will see. Dont go out in rain. Take care of your health, becoz you are consuming various foods from various place and we do not know the quality of it. If it's hygienic ok. But if it is contaminated mixture of food verities, it is highly risky. Drint hot water maximum. Ok good. Rock as usually. Good luck.

From March to August it will be the monsoon in most of the NE region. Ideal month to visit Assam will be in October during Durga Pooja and In March April when Bihu festivals are celebrated with Biju dance. Their culture is very nice and people are very nice.
I also you missed the Kaziranga wildlife sanctuary as it will be opened between October and March for public visits.
Also Don't miss an adventurous trip to Arunachal Pradesh where hich is the best pace to visit betwer than Switzerland, but only problem will getting a nice place for night stay.Best period to go there will be between October to March.
