Yes, tama po. Isa sa mga Germans na naka pasok sa Philippines is my Great Grandfather. Malaking tulong talaga ang ginawa ni Pres. Quezon. Kung di dahil dito wala ang buong angkan namin. May pictures pa nga si Lolo with Gen. MacArthur and Eisenhower sa bahay ng Lolo sa QC. Ginawa pa ngang kuta ng American yung house nung Japanese American war. Kilala yung house na bahay ni Fernando Poe Sr. dahil binili nya ito nung namatay yung Great Grandmother ko. And until now naka tayo pa yung house sa Roosevelt sa Quezon City. Ginawa ng venue ng mga wedding yung kalahati ng house na gift ng Lolo kong German sa eldest daughter nya na naging Lola ko. 😊. Yung house ng Lolo namin yung nasa Roosevelt ave. QC. Corner ng east riverside. Katabi ng dating apartment ni Ka tunying kung saan sya lumaki. Kilalang house ni Fenando Poe Sr. Pero lolo ko yung nag patayo. May pictures din yung lolo ko kasama si Dwight Eisenhower at Mc Arthur. Pero nasa 2nd family lahat nakita ko nung high school pa ko and im 31 now. Yung Family name ng Lolo ko is Dahl. Hindi ma pronounce ng maayos kaya naging Dahlen. Plus FYI. Kami yung 1st family na namuhay sa QC. After mamatay nung 1st wife ng Lolo. Binenta nya lahat ng properties nya sa QC at bumili sa Bolinao, Pangasinan. Am a big fan of Quezon and been reading his Biography since 2013. He is comparable to Rizal in talents. Ang bago sakin dito ay yung 2 magkapatid na Jews na nagconvince kay Quezon to accept Jew Refugees. Truly, God works in mysterious ways. It is not coincidence that the Philippines accept the Jews considering that ours is the only Christian nation in Asia, but the circumstances narrated, its wonderful. McArthur was dismissed/made to retire during the Korean War for disagreeing with President Truman. He (McArthur) has no authority, MOH or not, to receive money from another Country or Commonwealth unless Congress made it a law. Even then, that money goes to the U.S. Treasury. McArthur persuaded Roosevelt not to bypass the Philippines during its campaign towards Japan, but President Roosevelt could have turn him down and there's nothing MacArthur could have done. He could not influence the U.S. President for both of them belong to a different Political Party and MacArthur was a big threat to Roosevelt politically .
