I've worshipped at Lakewood when I visited, I have met and spoken to Joel, and I have heard 100+ of his sermons. I believe he is an imperfect person (like all of us) who does his best to spread hope, faith, and encouragement. We are blessed to have him alive today and speaking hope into our hearts. May God bless him, his family, and his ministry. BTW, I have never seen as much socio-economic diversity in a large congregation as I have at Lakewood. That speaks volumes!

Just when I was feeling hopeless I see this. My husband was hit by 2 cars and is now suffering from a traumatic brain injury. He’s in a vegetative state. He can open his eyes move his limbs cough grin etc but he’s not alert. After being in the hospital for a month now I was told today that he’s in the same state. It’s so depressing and it’s hard trying to explain this to our three kids. It’s like when I feel he’s getting better the doctors and nurses tell me different. I came across this video and i know God is going to push him through. This is my “faith in the middle”. I won’t give up on him. I know he’ll come back to our family. I’m still praying 🙏🏾 Lord I need you now more than ever.

He is fighting cancer/anemia please pray for him that he is pain free and for our Lord to take him when is time we don’t want to make the hard decision. second born son George, a police officer whom I had been praying for to be healed out of depression, I had done all I cold even involved my church group and Pastor. We prayed, I fasted but I lost him, He being the 2nd Son I had lost due to alcoholism,. I was devastated. I felt self pity, I asked God why . But , God gave my other sona grand child, Just what we been praying for for years. I now im encouraged that God's Promises are Yes and Amen .

I'm trying so hard to keep these negative thoughts from defeating me but they rob me of my sleep. I don't know why everything is so hard lately. I've been at it for a long time. Just making one mistake after another. Sigh. Please God let me get it all right. Please let everyone who feels as I do to get some light into their life, to stop worrying and to have peace. You better think that again because God's word says to write his words on your heart. Just when I was feeling hopeless I see this. My husband was hit by 2 cars and is now suffering from a traumatic brain injury. He’s in a vegetative state. He can open his eyes move his limbs cough grin etc but he’s not alert. After being in the hospital for a month now I was told today that he’s in the same state. It’s so depressing and it’s hard trying to explain this to our three kids. It’s like when I feel he’s getting better the doctors and nurses tell me different. I came across this video and i know God is going to push him through. This is my “faith in the middle”. I won’t give up on him. I know he’ll come back to our family. I’m still praying 🙏🏾 Lord I need you now more than ever.

I am a believer of God ever since I was a child but through the years, I have continued to suffer different kinds of pain and for quite some time, I was doing my own thing. Though I know that God was always there, I kept on doing things that were not right. Until I get tired from it all, I felt the pain of being all alone and then I realized, God is just waiting for me.
