Schar is criminally underrated. Incredible defender and probably the best CB on the ball in the entire league, doesn't get anywhere near the praise he deserves.

Schar is a gladiator, always takin big blows to head sometimes with blood and he just keeps goin. scores goals too and only cost 3million! Bargain or what? I love him.

I hear what you say re. Longstaff; in isolation he's an average PL midfielder BUT in this Newcastle side (& when he's fit enough to do his job properly), he's a match winner, especially against sides that play a high line
Anderson was very much LWB out of possession and LCM with it. 343 with it and 541 without it. Flummoxed Ange and it was never in doubt after the quick 1-2 punch

Dramatic change in tactics exploited the strong points in the Newcastle team; Bruno’s vista and passing skills combined with Isak and Gordon’s exploiting of speed and space. A return to 4 4 2 counterattack tactics.

Gordon and Isak are the new Beardsley and Cole. If Eddie goes 4-4-2, with those two playing interchangeable 9/10 roles, then top 5 is definitely on. Against Palace I'd love to see Tino, Schar, Burn, Hall, Murphy, Bruno, Anderson, Barnes, Gordon, Isak.

I very much doubt Newcastle will get top 5. It’s not impossible but it’s highly unlikely.

Spurs will probably lost their next 3 games and lose to Man City but win the other 2 games so Newcadtle and Man utd will need to win every game remaining and they play each other 2nd last game, that will decide it all, probably!!
Then again Spurs have a good record at home to Man city and Arsenal, they lost once at home in ten years to Arsenal and that was last year when Conte got toxic, I just think Top four , top five and top six is going to be tight.
