actually looks sick on the hvx... if you just zoom in a bit more it would look exactly like vx1 vig

I've found that filming in full wide then scaling up the image to match the vx1 will look better than zooming. The more you zoom in, the less distortion you get from the lens.

How did you attach the mk1 vx1000 bayonet to the vx2100?

I used this technique but added in small pegs to the wider adapter ring to fit in the cut out of the mk1 bayo. This way, when installed, the adapter rings can't spin around when screwing the lens on and off of the camera. Works great!
