  • This is the main VCF module of my modular system! It’s a CEM3320 high pass filter going into an SSM2044 low pass filter. I built the module a long time ago and didn’t draw any schematics at the time, so let me know if there is anything wrong with the schematics i did for this video! They are pretty much the datasheet circuits.

    this VCF sounds REALLY good,
and now i have a big interest for ALL your DIY modules, especially VCOs!

Wow your videos are so cool and well made!!
I was just wondering if you could make a video on your midi to cv converter! It would be a cool video!

Thanks so much! 🌞 I actually have no diy midi to cv converter at the moment, but im going to build one at some point hahah. I’m just using an arturia keystep and a passive minijack to banana jack adapter module! If you wanna build a diy midi to cv converter i would recommend you check out Hagiwo or Afrorack’s videos on youtube for example. Most of the diy midi to cv modules are pretty similar: an arduino with a simple midi code and a digigital to analog converter to output the CV

I also just bought a midimuso cv-12 kit for a project i’m planning on building at some point in the future! It’s a great diy kit you can use for polyphonic midi to cv convertion with velocity and all kinds of possible outputs

@@LAURISDIYCHANNELTV Wow great thanks for all the tips! Yeah I was looking on the web how to build one! I'm working on my diy modular synth and thought that would be a cool thing to make!

Nice, I used the AS3320 (CEM clone) for my low pass filter. I was lucky enough to stocked up on my components when these were still available in larger quantities at an affordable price. I should build a high pass filter with one of these too.

Aaaawwwsome buddy ! How the f$&@! did u manage at 8:05 to do the chords sequencer ! Pls explain the patching cable thing thanks !

My mono sequencer is controlling 2 of the oscillators. The other one is the bass note and the other one is tuned to a fifth an octave higher (so its +19 semitones). And the 3rd oscillator is just tuned to a static tone, so it kinda forms the ”chords” with the sequenced notes! Hope that made sense!

And I’m using an Arturia Keystep as the sequencer!
