I used to use the python connected to the faucet but since it doesn’t move water fast enough, I connected the python hose to a submersible pump and push water fast to the sink.

So you have to waste water down the drain in order for the suction in the vacuum to work? Ok, I saw you disconnected from the sink to let it drain in the tub... I would prefer that so I guess you can just suck on the end of it and let it drain into the tub then right from the start? So it is ok to dose the tank with dechlorinator separate from the water being added in. How do you get the water to the correct temperature for fish before it flows into the tank?
