How can a puffin touch it’s down under with its beak and still look at you at the same time? She’s amazingly funny 😆 ,but that question is going through my mind over and over.
@@jamesbizs well British comedy is funnier than most American comedy. its drier and more sincere. I do love Frasier Seinfeld and curb your enthusiasm though
@@flemingcourt The British press were more critical of the series than the American. Sam Wollaston in The Guardian writes that "More seriously for Family Tree, it simply isn't very good. It's not bad, it's just kind of all right...I watched the second episode too. Same same, still no surprises, or lols, or any sort of laughs really.."[13] Gerard O'Donovan in The Daily Telegraph feels that it "was fine, if not very funny, except when Guest’s trademark style came into play and we were expected to believe a TV crew was following Tom around, interviewing him and his pals. Uh, why? Guest’s previous films focused on subjects about which documentaries actually do get made - rock groups, dog shows, folk festivals. But a sad, under-motivated nobody pointlessly - and not very credibly - indulging his random curiosity? It just didn’t work."[14]
This show is funny but I am in love with Bea and Monkey--well, comedy love at least. I just found this show on Amazon last week and Monkey is my favorite character. I love how it has sort of an upper-crust British spinster voice. (And don't yell at me that Monkey is male--I know that, but the voice just reminds me of an English spinster who went to boarding school.)
You know I am a expat American living in Scandinavia. A jazz pianist living off the grid in a camper van with an adopted dog and cat and I watch her as much as possible. She's genius.
I found this show since I love chrs o dowd as an actor in the it crowd I found it on HBO on demand and my dad and I instantly fell in love we finished watching it one evening and I am hoping HBO comes to their senses in to bringing it back and the creators make season 2
'I don't have the manual skills' brilliant comedy
Nina Conti is a genius :-)
And gorgeous too
Somebody needs to make a sitcom with Nina and Monkey as the protagonists
Oh she's pure gold!
Waiting for the punch line, wondering where it was going... "Yeah, but the inaccuracy" LMAO!
Worth the wait.
Huh? It was full of punchlines from previous set-ups.
She's talented and she's lovely.
I love the comments at the end about monkey not being good at counting money because of inaccuracy not his manual skills
She's great and beautiful

Because, birds have their eyes on the sides of their heads and not the front like us...
LucianCorrvinous Son of Hekaté ooooohhhhh, yea your right.
They dont call them Puffin for nothin'.....
That's why it haunted her
She made it up.
Best character on television right now...bar none! Thank you F/T for bringing Monk in the public eye!!
That was 72 seconds that gave me a little light in all the gloom. Thank you!
Just brill ! Love her

Nina, you're gorgeous!
And a genius too
Yea that's how we get our puffin badge in Wales. I'm sorry nobody told you beforehand.
Hbo are idiots for cancelling this brilliant show. All 8 episodes are pure gold.

Has Monkey ever met Mr. Bean?
This show was criminally underrated
LORD I MISS THIS SHOW!!
I just love this!!

Monkey is Scottish. 😳 🏴
Monkey sounds a bit like Sean Connery.
Crazy funny. I like her
Dont ask me why...but Monk is my fav. Ninas not so bad either!

Nina Conti and her monkey at the bank 🏦 and that’s so cute. She and Jeff Dunham and Darci Lynn are my favorite ventriloquists. The monkey is cute
Working in a bank - cracks me up
Yeah...but, the inaccuracy.......
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I can see the monkey's lips move when she speaks.
she is excellent !!!
Make a puffin puppet and see if you can thrash this out once and for all!
Family Tree is such a great show. Turned me on to Nina and monkey.
That was very interesting. 😂

Monkey isn't very good at chess either. He can only beat Nina 3 out of 10 times.
Nina Conti, Ray Allen, Arthur Worsley. Does it get any better than that? I think not.
Too Funny!
What "Show" was this and how can I find it, please!!
TV series called "Family Tree" starring Nina Conti & Chris O'Dowd. Only one series of 8 episodes made as far as I know.
@@paulgrant5641 Thank You!! I'll track it down!!👍😁
Hah Larious! Thanks Colleen!
To funny
Yeah, but the inaccuracy.
Family tree....
More. Like. Mango tree.
The inaccuracy! Geez, how many jobs need to be 100% correct all the time? It's okay Monkey.
You've to work for the Emanuel skills MF😂 :/
HBO sucks
