I've been a fan of Jackie Stewart's since I was a kid in the mid-70s. I'll never forget my dad telling me "that's one fiery little englishman...... and he can drive the absolute piss out of a car". I gave up my life as I knew it to see my mother to the end of dementia, after my Dad's passing. It brings tears to my eyes now to see that fire still there.. and now directed towards something even more special to my heart. Jackie's definitely one of the greatest of all time

@AmericasChoice I don't think my dad knew at the time. Our information on F1 back then was very limited here in the states. I'm not even sure they broadcast every race hear back then, but you had to be awake, and in front of the television or you missed it. I've known he was Scottish for a very long time now. I should have pointed it out, but as an American my mind was more on my father's quote and not quite as much how offensive it may be.

Anyone else have the Jackie Stewart race track set in the 70's? I put a few thousand miles on my cars.

And Jackie had already run the Daytona 500 by 1973. He was pretty nifty behind the wheel. F1, NASCAR, Can-Am, Indy 500 as well as other categories raced during his career. Driver’s needed to race multiple series to make a comfortable living

I can't find any evidence that Stewart ever competed in the Daytona 500. He did race in the Indianapolis 500 more than once.

I wonder, did the C body have a HEMI?

That's what they were made for, like sitting on your living room couch.

It's the theory you see. Nascar is very different from something like F1. To be a fly on the wall with these two is magic.

If this was 1973, then Stewart was in the midst of his final year in F1 and on his way to his third World Championship.

The fact this doesn't have 1M views already says a lot. idk what it says, but it's a lot. This is two all-time greats in their prime talking what they love. Wish Jackie had run in Nascar.
