I actually believe that the zilo beast was far more intelligent then most people think. It didn't rampage aimlessly, it had 1 very clear target, Palpatine. I am sure this beast is actually both sentient and force sensetive.
I'm not sure if it was force-sensitive, but I think it specifically targeted Palpatine because Palpatine was being particularly cruel to it. I don't think it sensed Palpatine's dark side presence, if that was what you were getting at.
I sadly have to agree that Godzilla would win. The atomic fire alone gives him the edge. Small gaps in the scales allowed for the Zillo Beast to be paralyzed by lasers and put it into a coma, and gas was used to kill it, I can't help but think that somehow the focused atomic beam that Godzilla fires would have an effect, getting below the scales and in the Zillow Beast's mouth, presumably irradiating it until it becomes too weak and keels over. Also, I'm not sure what the size difference between the two is, but durable skin does not make for a durable body, that's the whole point of that thicker skin, it protects the softer tissue within that can be subjugated to internal damages. If Godzilla can get a good grip on the Zillo Beast's many long and lanky features, he would then just have to thrash him around and kill him from the inside out. The Zillo Beast is a great threat to the Star Wars Galaxy, but in the realm of monsters, Godzilla is still king.

I know I said Alex needed a break, but... this... Perhaps too high a price? Also, the Zillo beast is definitely sentient and intelligent, and force sensitive. Godzilla's attacks are energy based or just brute force, neither of which should have any more effect on the Zillo beast than stunning it. Given the Zillo's speed and agility, it should be able to evade Goji with ease. Attack wise it would know it can't overpower Goji and probably disengage. The other issue is the only thing that killed the Zillo beast was poison gas, which Goji doesn't generate, so unless he's going to fart the Zillo beast to death, he'd basically need to blow his nuclear breath down the Zillo's throat and hope it roasted from the inside out.
Man I couldn't see crap in those newer Godzilla clips. And if that agency formed to kill Godzilla respects him, and allows several major cities' destruction, thousands of deaths, and millions more losing their homes and livelihoods, then they REALLY suck at their jobs.
