Exercise 10 Value scale

A value scale is a strip of varying values from white through mid-tones to almost black.
Value scales are handy tools to accurately identify the many values that make up a picture. Creating a value scale of your own also gives you some practice in how to use less or more pressure on your pencil to create different values, and how to do this fluently to create values that seamlessly grow lighter or darker.
