This is the description of the new ride!
The new WindSeeker will be a 301-foot-tall tower that will spin riders nearly 30 stories above the Lake Erie shoreline. Seated in two-person swings that will allow their feet to dangle, riders will slowly begin rotating in a circular motion as the swings ascend the tower. At the top, the swings will be reaching speeds between 25-30 mph, flaring out almost 45 degrees from the tower. WindSeeker will be able to accommodate 64 riders (32 swings) at one time.
"Spinning almost 300 feet above Lake Erie and the Cedar Point Beach will be a very exciting ride experience for our guests," said John Hildebrandt, the vice president and general manager of Cedar Point. "Day or night, WindSeeker will provide riders with dramatic views of the park and the Cedar Point Peninsula. It will be an extremely popular addition to Cedar Point." - Розваги
Windseeker is pretty cool, I was there at cedar point the day it opened. It's pretty intense, so dont trash it if you've never riden it.

lol this ride always freaks me out because I'm afraid my seat is gonna come unlocked and I'm gonna fall out...
they have this ride at knotts berry farm

they would open it the year after i go to!
@jaydensmama1108 Slow, you go to Kings Island for it to drop like the Power Tower. I dont think they put that at Cedar Point so that Kings Island would get more business.
wow really. kings island just got one of these too. and its called windseeker. i know cedar fair owns them now but they could have at least come up with two different names

this is not the adreneline rush im looking for. this would just kill me. get me a roller coaster!!

If there were a coaster big and scary where would it be ? They can't just tear down all the phony rides and replaced them with scary rides, it's gonna be unfair for the people that does like big thrill rides. I think it's a good idea to put the windseeker up for people can face there fears.

@fhood Six Flags? LOLFAIL. I've been to both, and Cedar Point is by far better.
Sorry, but Cedar Point sucks. Six Flags Magic Mountain out here in L.A. now has 18 coasters -- the most of any park. They are adding 3 new ones in 2011 alone. One is a ZacSpin coaster -- the first of it's kind in the U.S.. If you like gay swings from which you can possibly see Canada and all of Sandusky, OH, Cedar Point is for you. If you like high-tech, cutting-edge thrills, Six Flags Magic Mountain is for you.
