I was saying to myself all week "It would be SO sick if I was there" (didn't have tickets freshman year) and lo and behold I got this! It was SOOOO loud in the student section. Loudest I've ever heard the stadium personally.

@@Dipper_23 The students are there to work. It seems quite reasonable that it is 5-10 db louder than the gp crowd of mixed older folks, where I was 20 rows off the field in "19, for the Michigan game :) Glad you got this one as a memory!

Michigan fan here. Amazing atmosphere. Shades/nightmares of 2017 all over again for me. Same thing happened to UM on 1st possession. A false start, followed by a near delay of game timeout that had to be taken. Happy Valley is college football at its finest.

Interesting that they stop the song with 20 seconds on the playclock... Way sooner than the Michigan one. Michigan players only got set after the music stopped and I don't think knew the play clock was running because there's certainly a rule of how long into the play clock you can be playing PA music pre-snap.
You'd think by now, opponents of ours would come up with various hand signals...or hell, learn ASL to communicate the plays. Otherwise, White-Outs are gonna artificially inflate your season penalty average.

Worst whiteout I have seen at Penn State. Not a fan of PSU but I respect the whiteout atmosphere. Should have boycotted doing the whiteout because they robbed you of the traditional OSU whiteout game.
If you think Penn State fans would even _consider_ boycotting the White Out, you know absolutely nothing about Penn State fans. It was an electric atmosphere, a great evening with a great win, and a fun and worthwhile White Out. We don't do the White Out for neutral fans wanting a good game.

Sadly having people come to games isn't enough to be a competitive school. Shame too is always a let down when Penn State sucks year after year not even putting up a fight. I was at least Penn State was a school like Rutgers that is always playing poorly and when they finally win a game it is a big deal. Instead we must be let down all season long. I wish I never went to this school.
I already know my Buckeyes are going to get a few false start penalties this Saturday. Even in a noon game those fans are rowdy. Thank God it's not a white out game lol
