I'm always fascinated by the construction of the DIY home project suspension bridge. Suspension bridges are cool as a form of construction. I would love to see the finished project. It looks like it was moving along just fine. The construction plan seemed to be quite adequate to support all materials and potential foot traffic. I am curious as to how deep the four main support posts are sunk into the ground, and how much concrete is surrounding the posts. I hope to see more of this completed bridge. Thanks for sharing the video thus far.
I'm curious as to why the deck of the bridge is so high. Yes, it will sag in the middle, but you don't need that much room above high water and the ramps will be rather steep the way things sit at the moment. Also consider that lowering the deck will make room for hand rail cables from the same end posts.

Great build, how has it held up over time? Anything you would do differently if you were to do it again?

Probably not a bad idea if there are kayakers coming through.
Look great What size of cable did you use?
how did you compute the cable tension at the guy tower? like wood sway? wood sway strength
how much did this project cost to build? also is there a good email address to reach you at for some other questions?
how to tension the steel cable?
What is it's durability
