It’s all good bro but definitely recommend going back and watching this one again from having the understanding that it was actually Jimmy’s father who pushed him more and more to chase more money and power from a very early age :)

His father didn't try to get him to go the right way. He taught him money is all that matters and you should take all you can. He instilled greed in him. Greed for money but also greed for approval. Nothing Jimmy did was good enough. Everytime he felt he was succeeding, his father moved the target. At the end he's questioning the choices he made. Lamborghini for lives, trading money for souls. He did those things. Now at the end of his life he's realizing that none of it was worth the cost.
I see this as Jimmy could never please his father despite doing everything he could. Once his father died, Jimmy realized he could never get his father’s approval and spiraled into self-destruction. I love how Ren subtly tied all the songs together. Great reaction ❤
The American dream, it’s all about the money. Your comment at the beginning that you got to work hard for everything, what you meant was getting money at any cost. Tut tut! We all buy into the belief of chasing money to have a long and fulfilling life😢
This hits hard. I always tried to be at the top of every company I worked for and ended up in corporate makinging a shed tonne of money, presenting strategies and revenue forecasts for the BOard of Directors of a massive company. And then last November I had a stroke due to the stress. I was 43 at the time. I forgot how to walk, use the stairs, read, properly, had no sense of balance, had double vision, etc. for months. I had to teach myself how to walk again and I still struggle. Thinking about going to a shop terrifies me because at any moment I could fall over and make a scene. My girlfiend of 6 years left me as well. My confidence and self-worth used to be through the ceiling. It's getting better though but it's a sruggle everyday. It's been a messed up year to say the least and has put a lot into perpective. It just take a moment to completely change your life.
Jimmy was messed up. From birth he was taught only that money and materialism ruled. His father never showed love, was never satisfied with what his son achieved. As Ren said, is an exaggerated version of society but this is reality. And if we do not recognize that in the early stages then we definitely are doomed.
But that's exactly why this piece of art is important. We have entire generations who have been taught from early age to pursue money and material things. He said almost every major music label knocked down his door this year trying to sign him with multi-million dollar offers and he told them all to f*ck off. He said he honestly doesn't give a damn about money or fame. Someone even tried to cancel him on one of his live streams and he turned around and made it into a running joke for like a month because he honestly just doesn't care what people think about him. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors. You are thoughtful and genuine and seem to really take care and time in processing Ren's art. I was worried in the beginning of this video that you were getting the wrong idea but you came around you are a good person great reaction❤
. My interpretation was that the guy in the beginning comes in to piano which to me showed like a someone else comes and takes your place in the cycle. When Ren took off his hostage hood and looks in the mirror to me a mirror represents self reflection and being honest with oneself. Than the boy named jimmy to me i thought was a boy on the opposite side of the tracks from screech(james) growing up in wealth, screech growing up in poverty. The song reflecting on Jimmy's life one of his first memories and there after was the expectations his father and society put on him. The people with all the bags on their head to me were hostages everyone was a hostage to the money game everyone working, cartels, symphony like his servents Ren was the only one at that point with no hood on which to me represented thar he was the only one being honest and reflecting about his part in the money game a d acknowledging it. He is climbing the ladder and gets as high as he can without breaking the law and the hunger for more more more. We have been warned by philosophers for years about what's happening. They say that everyone one earth has natural needs and all natural needs can be filled if your hungry you eat and that's fulfilled if your cold you get warmth and that's fulfilled. UT power, politics, money etc is made from our ideas and designs and bc of that you can never fill that void it's impossible and you do everything you can in life hurting others, self sabotaging your own life there is no line at what cost you will do. Ok that's all.sorry so long winded.

This is a deep piece. How you see it and how you interpret it is your vision. Just because I may take something different away than you did does not make either of us wrong. Thank you for staying up late to take this reaction on. Looking forward to your feelings about the rest of the album.
He started at 1 - first words…mine mine gimmie… the callback is everything. I also love the imagery of Jimmy becoming Moore underhanded- ducking under the handshake ❤❤
What's sad about this is there is a little bit of Jimmy In all of us! we're all part of that same money game. it's not like we can conscientiously object! The way the modern world is designed means no money no home, no money no food, no money no life! But chase those little bits of paper too hard you end up with no morals, no empathy and eventually no soul.
I like that this one has piano and a quartet of strings instead of just a strumming acoustic guitar for accompaniment. Piano throughout is different and pleasing to my ear drums. I agree with 90% of the comments before mine, so far, although I haven't read all of them. I try not to form an opinion of the reactors, they have their own opinions by what they heard the first time, that's why I watch reactors, what do they hear and feel and get out of the music? Then I wait and watch.
I think you’re right, you do have to instill some kind of fight in your children so that they know that they have to work hard in life to get somewhere. However, there is that fine line that he is showing, between pushing your kid in the right way and over stressing your child. I think it really changed when he told him that money was the means to all ends in place of love and happiness.
Ren…… I am a lot older than you and I haven’t heard a more important message in a song. Great reaction. Thank you. Be careful what you wish for they say.
Commenting at 4 minutes in: A kid being told that he has to work to earn isn't a bad thing, but it is *damn* important that we learn it should not be that way, that it isn't the *point.* Necessity is not made of the same things and value and virtue.
Great reaction man, the first I’ve watched from you. I really like your style and I really like that you caught a lot of things that not everyone did. Subbed and liked dude. Respect from the Uk ✌🏼
I wondered how this would work on the album. It's very well done! I've already listened to the whole thing twice even though I know all the songs that were online already.
This is such an amazing and deep song. Song? No, this isn't just a song! It's something so much more! Something my standard vocabulary is struggling to describe adequately enough! So I'll just say art. I love your reaction style and that was the reason I suggested that you try reacting to Ren, and this is a great first time listen reaction, which is an extremely brave thing to do! I really hope you get the chance to listen to this again because I feel you missed some important points of the story. One of these being the underlying theme of greed and that he had become a drugs baron.😁 I've never been bothered enough about a track , sorry piece of art, and a particular reactor to write a comment like this. It's bloody hard because you don't want to upset anyone! 🤣
@@DRichOfficial I suffer from social anxiety, so writing that comment to you was one of the hardest, self-inflicted, things I have done for a very long time. I'm just happy I didn't piss you off. 😁❤
Thanks for reacting. I honestly know that mental sharpness declines the longer you are awake, especially as you approach the early morning…. You may want to reserve reactions until you are rested, especially with Ren, lol. There’s so much you can miss if you’re not on top of your game. I think you missed the mark, and the message of this piece. Mostly because of being tired, and partly because you, too, are trapped in the money game… your reaction to “listen here, son, a man works for what he wants” is mired in the mindset of competition vs. cooperation, which is the sin of greed (you immediately pointed out a competition between the industrious vs. the lazy - thinking that the message of working for what you want is “good,” when it’s actually the root of the money game…. ). Ren is trying to show that the mindset of greed (“the world don’t care about you son, take all that you can”) is what led Jimmy down the path of self destruction. (FWIW, I’m 56, and I know that I have been involved in the “money game” my entire life. I caught an inkling in my 30s, and then as I grew older realized I was entrenched - but the game requires that you continue to work. I was fortunate that my career field is one that I enjoy. Now that I am reaching retirement age, and I have a granddaughter that is 2, I see the money game laid out for her… Anyway, we all bring our own perspective to interpretations - but when you’re fresh, go back and watch this again. I think you’ll have an “Aha!” Moment. Also, watch parts I and II to really get the message. Cheers. And I sincerely hope that you can find a job/career as we live our lives in this money game that you can enjoy going to work and the people there, and perhaps the mission.
And I hope people can see this is an artistic vision of a precautionary tale, not a thing that happens to every person in the pursuit of money , rens line in hi ren......, and for me that’s enough cause this life’s been tough and it gives me a purpose I can rest in ......it’s ok to go after money , but have a purpose you can rest in, otherwise. Money game 3 ...precautionary tales , although tragic have importance when told by genius like ren, had to study and learn from another guy like this in school, name was Shakespeare
The critical thinker is uncomfortable would be my best guess as to the numbers of views. The views are coming. I saw a visible change in your face while watching. Hitting nerves is rens game 🎯 and I appreciate every one of the reactors thoughts. People are thinking!!! It's amazing ❤
Is it ne or are there vibes of the movie "The Game"? Want more Yamaha and strings. Maybe soneday he'll do a mini concerto. Thanks for the inciteful reaction!

Mr Rich, I am 55 yrs old and I noticed a few comments where I can see the young bravado of the people who like my younger self knew more than my elders, that was me I knew everything and I was always correct. Money does not make you rich, yes it's a necessity but financial education is required in schools but it won't happen because that means the citizens catching the thief's. I can only give one piece of advice, we have eyes but cannot see, we have 2 ears but do not listen and we have to learn to keep our mouths shut or we don't get education. Peace and Love to you and your family 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴
His father was a POS right from the beginning. He never steered Jimmy in the right direction, he steered him into the greed and the LOVE of money (game). Get the money no matter who you crush or kill, that was daddy's motto. He twisted Jimmy just like himself.
His Father did not try and get him on the right path, his Father suffered from the same "affliction" that ended up destroying Jimmy, it's a Generational curse passed from 1 generation to the next. He just described the mentality of the elites in 9 minutes in the most creative way, but also how everyone else facilitates it
I did not grow up this way. I guess I was trying to convey how the world looks at things as far as money. At some point you do have to grow up and work hard to get things but money is not everything. You can’t get spoon fed but also do let the money control your life. Love this video! Thanks for watching 🤘🏾
Its all ok. I know you dont REALIZE YOU ARE ONE of "Them". There is still time for you to learn and you are smart. His dad Drove him to be this way. This how "They" are and drive their kids to be. Enough is NEVER enough for them! Poor poor Jimmy was a victim.
I may just have a bad case of derangement syndrome, but i feel there were references to Trump throught the song. The cold, controlling father, #45, the red tie, learning to lie effectively, the prostitute, and i think there's more but I'm baked. Im not saying he's Jimmy, the differences are vast, but i think Ren was aware he made those connections. Seriously, tell me if you think i have TDS. 🤣
It’s natural to try and decipher “who is he talking about?” but Ren has so deliberately addressed here, in other songs (Pt 1 & 2) and in interviews that this is an “us” problem. The minute this song becomes a political debate it’s lost it’s meaning.
@@Calmontheoutside I don't think it's a political debate and politics are just another human construct like money, borders, etc., but I still feel the references were purposeful and served to illustrate the game and how it's played.
@@snakelite61You’re right-I see references too. Bill Gates, teenage “influencers”, etc. But I also hear millions of families whose names we never know driven by having kids who read in preschool and on and on. The titans of industry are an obvious problem and target but if we don’t look at ourselves we’re missing our role in the problem. I guess what I should have said is I HOPE the discussion doesn’t get political because it stilts the talking.
The only thing ren gets wrong in this trilogy is the idea of the collective being more important than the individual. Individuals make up a collective and you can't cookie cutter add a fix to a group of people. Individuals need to better themselves and that spreads to the collective. It all starts from you, clean your room before you try to better the world. But it's cool I get the ideolistic youth. I also love star trek and hope for utopia but it won't ever be possible so long as greed exists so for the time being, the best solution is the libertarian perspective. The focus on the individual is paramount. Socialism is absolutely dangerous period.
I’m not sure you really got it my friend. The point is from day one he was taught to be greedy. His father told him money was the means to ALL ends! Maybe in America that’s what you teach your children in a capitalist system. But mate - money is the root of all evil and we only use it as a tool because we have to, but family, connections to people and your environment are far more important. Life is so short and the worshipping of money will only make it shorter. Where’s the love in his story? Where’s the life?
And I guess I didn’t mean to come off as money being more important than life. But more so your a man and have to work hard to get where you want. Fame and riches come along and you do tend to be blind to other things like love and life. Money is evil and yes we shouldn’t teach people to go after it like it’s the most important thing in life🤘🏾. Thanks for watching!!
You didnt6 get this at all, his father was the demon, nothing he ever did was good enough, so he kept going to make him proud it never came and after his dad died he went off the rails big time.
i really think your missing the point. the father is the cause of jimmy chasing money power and fame. nothing jimmy does is enough for the dad, he is wealthy and successful amd the father taunts him your still not the man your not even in second place. this pressure from parents, friends and society to be successful are what is pushing the whole money game. people want more and more and that has become human nature over time.
Man to man you do want to make your father proud but once you grow up you have to get it on your own. Just don’t let the money, fame and fortune take over and I was trying to make that point just didn’t get it across
@@DRichOfficial ya of course everyone wants to make their parents proud. but i feel the point he is making is people are being pushed into this materialistic, me, me, me, world from a young age and grow up believing the only thing that can make them happy or feel fulfilled is money. Only when something real happens do we take stock of what we actually have and what is important. Your health is your wealth all the rest is BS. We all do it everyone wants a better job, better car, bigger house its all part of the money game that keeps making profit for the already rich and powerful elite. Check out crucify your culture its another song with a message regarding corporations, government and consumerism etc.. Been enjoying them all so far

Love your reactions friend. Adore this song. Ren is so important, his art could really change things.
this is art at its finest masterpiece thank you for reacting to this sending big love from the UK ❤❤
Losing your legs chasing the wrong dream!
Much love and respect from The UK
Such a creative way to get a message across!
@@DRichOfficial One of the best videos I've seen in a long time and I'm old!
Very creative fella, he's been a joy to watch for years and he just keeps getting better with age (like the cheese he stabs up)😉
I wish him the best in life and his amazing artistry.
Also really enjoy your reactions to him 👍😁
This is a deep piece.
🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥
Edit: the only thing of value you can take with you in the end is love
We are all in the money game. It’s about how we all contribute
Absolute masterpiece! Part 1 and 2 mentions “finger on the trigger of a money game”. Well part 3, it was pulled!
If you rewind a little, after pausing, you won't miss anything. :)
Been waiting on this one! 🔥❤
I love the story-twlling aspect of songs like this and NF- story, something about them not having a corus and yet it draws you in
This was definitely an EPIC creation.
Let’s go.
A masterpiece🔥🔥
Ren…… I am a lot older than you and I haven’t heard a more important message in a song.
Great reaction.
Thank you.
Be careful what you wish for they say.
Don't ignore your veteran whilst you sat comfy.
Commenting at 4 minutes in: A kid being told that he has to work to earn isn't a bad thing, but it is *damn* important that we learn it should not be that way, that it isn't the *point.*
Necessity is not made of the same things and value and virtue.
Great reaction man, the first I’ve watched from you. I really like your style and I really like that you caught a lot of things that not everyone did. Subbed and liked dude. Respect from the Uk ✌🏼
You did a great job overall, especially considering only watching it once at a silly hour 👍
Look forward to seeing you react to more Ren
Cheers pal 🍻😀
Ren just made the best one take video ever made
Absolute masterpiece INDEED!!! Much love Brother:)
D Rich are gonna be mindblown over this song.
I liked your reaction. Also that you reflected on it so concentratedly. Greetings from Germany.
Thank you! I might have got some parts wrong but that’s the beauty of music and what Ren does!
Yes I might even go back with a final thoughts video🤘🏾🔥
@@DRichOfficial I suffer from social anxiety, so writing that comment to you was one of the hardest, self-inflicted, things I have done for a very long time. I'm just happy I didn't piss you off. 😁❤
Enjoyed your reaction to this master piece !
Ty for getting to it.
Now that I am reaching retirement age, and I have a granddaughter that is 2, I see the money game laid out for her…
Anyway, we all bring our own perspective to interpretations - but when you’re fresh, go back and watch this again.
FYI @KnoxHill is having Ren live today 11:15 am PST to chat about Sick Boi Album ♥️
Bro, great reaction. I enjoyed the shit out of it. Ren is a special talent.
This is a never can please help a father.
Great breakdown bro
Thank you! I know I wasn’t all the way right but I’m glad you watched🤘🏾🔥
Hi Ren, Money game 3 and children of the moon Best art pieces. and of course Jenny, Screech and Violet.
The U.N. should play this at the next full General Assembly. And in the House of Commons, Congress and every State legislature.
Such a great song Ren is a freaking genius 🎉🎉🎉 no approval from dad and he declined in life 😢😢. Please react to What Went Wrong 1,2 official video's you will be surprised by the outcome of the songs. Loved the reaction oh and let me warn you now in the two songs I gave you everything is not what it seems to be haha you've been warned😂😂😂
Masterpiece 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐❣️
This is the best one of the 3 in my opinion
Ren makes you think!
Live one take. Simply amazing
It’s literally a movie lol
Ren sure love numbers and symbols
Yes he does!
Thank you!
It's an amazing creative video.
Like beyond creative!
Awesome 👏❤️🇬🇧
on the table there was 5 shells Ren only put 4 in i think it Jammed because you hear a click at end
🌹🦇🌹🦇
all you hear is a click, we don't know Jimmy's fate.. the gun was wet after all.
I just want that globe ❤
Soo... Can humans overcome greed or are we "mold upon the surface that consumes 'till it dies"?
Oh ģod its a masterpiece
Incredible!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
He started at 1. LOL
👌🏻
Im 24 and I still don't feel like a man yet 😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💕
His father was a POS right from the beginning. He never steered Jimmy in the right direction, he steered him into the greed and the LOVE of money (game). Get the money no matter who you crush or kill, that was daddy's motto. He twisted Jimmy just like himself.
No man you got it twisted. He felt he was never good enough for his father. No matter what he did, his dad was saying you need more.
the point is greed of the system
His Father did not try and get him on the right path, his Father suffered from the same "affliction" that ended up destroying Jimmy, it's a Generational curse passed from 1 generation to the next. He just described the mentality of the elites in 9 minutes in the most creative way, but also how everyone else facilitates it
🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤✌
“The man in the mirror “ this has left me think was your father like Jimmy’s as you didn’t seem to see how wrong his father was!
@@Calmontheoutside
Knox asked my question during his interview and Ren denied the connection, so I have my answer. 😊
Seems this went over your head.
YOU ASKED WHAT TO RAP TO OF ALL HIS SONGS RE RAP THIS .....THINK U COULD ...
Not a chance lol. This is one of a kind
You got it completely wrong.(poor reaction).
You do realize I fast forward through every time you stop it do you know how annoying that is? try watching one of your videos? I'm sure you'll agree. you're not adding to the video you're taking away from the video that he work hard to create. Selfishness Hubris? I don't know what it is
Are you having a fuckin' laugh? @DRichOffical is a reactor! He reacts to music videos! He stops the video so he can react! Which means he gives his opinion on the video! I think you've got confused with what a reaction channel does and what an artists channel does! One reacts to the song and the other doesn't! Di*ck'ed. 😂
If you want to listen to the song, listen to it on Ren’s channel. This is a reaction video.
