I tried them last Sunday and to be honest they actually did ok . I thought they just help line up and give a good angle . I usually hit 3 out of 5 pretty straight using normal tees, but these new angle tees I was getting 4 out of 5 straight with maybe a little more distance. The only thing is they do bend heaps and fly out backwards a long long way so be prepared to go looking for them after driving .
I noticed it reduced coefficient of friction by .0000000000092%, resulting in an extra 30 yards. The 10 degree angle also adds an additional 30 yards, for a total of 60 yards. Don't forget to use the Amazon tee protractor to ensure tee is precisely at 10 degree angle. Each fraction of a degree difference can result in 5.5 yards lost.
Love lignum tees. They almost always end up behind you or remain in the ground because of the protruding markings. I have often had the same tee for months.
These are a modern take on the old Velocitee’s that we’re out in the late 80’s early 90’s which quickly fell off the market as far as popularity, but are still available on Amazon. To be honest I didn’t know they still made them. Used to hit them with persimmon and laminated maple drivers.
Really interesting about taking the time to line up your shot and spend more time on setup. Makes a lot of sense even if the marketing is a little amusing
*I selling jars of AIR in that when placed a meter behind the ball and you take the lid off, you'll gain 15 yds off your tee shots. ($20) reuseable for 10 shots*
Interesting. In the U.S. these tees are under the brand name Flightpath. I have some and they work fine as a tee but I have not been convinced that they do anything special.
Flex Tees (which I like) have an offset version that does the same thing as these. I haven't seen a difference between them and their normal driver sized tee.
durable but after bragging to my mates how they are virtually unbreakable i lost the tee on the first drive so £1 down the drain haha but my confidence with them is much higher for whatever reason my drives are better than ever but at least 80 yards behind yours even after lessons i seem to smash 220 but never any further
haha always used to used those neon see through crown tees when younger and it pained me when I lost one of them! Spin will be the issue mate if you clubbed speed is above 95mph mate, getting dynamic loft can be tricky with the driver pal. thanks mark.
Maybe its placebo, I do not believe anything about a tee other than height all they do is hold the ball. But they are doing a longer setup and maybe making them more confident
Imagine actually believing this bollocks 😂😂😂😂😂 A slice is caused by swing and club path it has absolutely NOTHING to do with a golf tee 😂 Dont fall this marketing tripe
As someone who has played with a partner who is obsessed with alternative golf tees, I can tell you, don't be that guy! If you worry about not finding your tee after you've teed off, please do yourself a favor and go back to playing regular cheap/free wood tees. Don't be that guy! I love the paying partner I'm describing, but if you are obsessing about tees, don't be that guy!
Well, this review is not really a review of the claim of eliminating slices because you're not a slicer. I was waiting for one of your mid to high handicapper friends who always slices to prove these really do stop the slicing. So, this review was a bust. Get a slicer to try them and turn on the camera, then I'll be a believer.
A fool and his money are easily parted, jee so many ridiculous gimmicks for golf out there, improve your slice by improving your swing path, and learn to rotate the left hand for a right hander back to where it starts, end of slice
These are a perfect christmas present for your friend who uses iron headcovers.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I use pink castle tees because I’m lazy and they are consistent without me thinking about it. I use red castle tees for irons or hybrids off the tee.

Especially when I used to do on course lessons, majority of the time was just aligning people correctly! thank rob!
Ok i may need this in my life….

Would setting the wooden tees with a backward lean make a difference ?
I don't know those would do what they say or not. They do however look like they would very durable. Great review, keep them coming brother.
Thanks Josh!
I got another tee, that make hooking a ball from japan. Love it

I love kislux that on the butterfly bag it says auguri / tanti auguri which means happy birthday
The only goofy tee I will use is a Martini Tee. They actully tee my ball at the perfect height.

I like decathlons bright yellow tees.
Swing path and club face direction are the only things that can correct a slice. A tee can affect neither of those things.
So I can finally stop watching all the "Stop slicing your driver" videos on youtube, and just buy some tees? I'm in.
You guys need to take a statistics course cause the margin of error on 5 hits each is way more than the difference between your averages.
So wild!!!
They legal?
I thought any tee that would line you up with a pointer or other gimmick was illegal?
They are illegal for comp golf re equipment rules 6.2.
Yep.
Not tee is going to make a blind bit of difference to anyone but people still lap it up. I worry about what’s going on in those peoples heads!
The mind is a funny thing. I’ve convinced myself golf is easy.
Simon, someone offered me some.magic beans for a cow. Sounds a good deal and promised me a fortune in gold. What do you reckon? J
Take the beans mate, even if they don’t work. You’ll save a fortune not having the wife at home. 🙌
Pile of sand works great, no cost no damage, variable height too😂😂😂
Do Brits all spell “Skeptical” as “Sceptical”? If not, the reviews that you read from Paul Stephens and CD63 (1sr and 2nd) are the same person.
Yes, Brits tend to spell Sceptical correctly 😏
Placebo effect likely. It goes away.
Zero tees? Tees are a buck or so in nearly every pro shop. And at resort courses you get them free.
No tee can possibly correct a poor swing path and face to swing path.
Correct 👌
@@SASGolf Shame, I could use it right now!

Hahaha praying on people’s desperation.
These tees are illegal in competition as they are a anti slice and a game improvement do not buy waste of money
I don't think these are legal in tournaments. Please make plastic tees illegal to use, they do not biodegrade fast enough and dull lawn mower blades
I'm sure Simon will get right on banning them 😂
Tees claiming anything other than the ability to tee up a ball is just a grift.
Some people ar just thick! They have too much money and are stupidly gullible.
The old fake review

Got them months ago. Don’t work. What they do ping away across the tee box! Spend valuable seconds looking to find it! 😝
Haha 😅
