I never liked those bands where there's the "brand", and one after the other the original members go away or get replaced, so that in the end you don't even have one single original member. That's not art, that's business. I think that band musicians should be true friends, not just colleagues. I'm happy Mayhem believe in this philosophy too.

i think now he feels especially sad considering euronymous was still just an edgy kid who placed himself headfirst into an edgy, rat-race, not fully being aware of the consequences.
let this serve as a reminder that being an adult doesn't just come at a certain age, most have to earn their adulthood maturity, and many don't learn those lessons up until after their reckless 20's, by the time they are 33 or so...

Oddly enough, I was born in early 94 and my aunt was dying of aids in 93. My mom would visit her all the time but the time that my aunt died my mother claims to have gotten lost on the way to the hospital. Now me being in my moms bellyat the time has nothing to do with this but I do feel like my mother was on her way to kill Euronymous.

Jørn, if Euronymous was still alive, you wouldn't be in the band and you know it.
He had kicked you out of the band before they record De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.
This happened (probably) because you were absent from rehearsals and also Mayhem had to cancel a lot of shows, back in those days, because you prefered to go for vacation and spend time with your girlfriend, rather than performing with Mayhem.
Euronymous created Mayhem. You were part of the band for some time.
Because of that, now you have a reputation and a job (performing with Mayhem as an original member).
It would be nice of you, out of respect to Euronymous, to stop saying such things like "I would had killed him" and start showing some gratitude to him.
If Euronymous lived, I am sure Necrobutcher would have never said anything like this.

Necro went deeper into this matter in the documentary "Helvete" (on my channel, with subtitles). He tells the story of how Mayhem came to be, how they met Øystein, and the aftermath of Pelle etc.
Norway is a *very* strange place.
A place where people want to keep their pagan traditions instead of that non sense christianity who are brainwashing millions around the world, sucking their money and their true beliefs about life and what surround us. That's why the black metal genre began, anger to the dominant Christian invasion in the country. People are feeling that the country is changing, I would not be happy either. Nature, the sun are the true gods, that gives us ALL we need, we cannot deny that, but yet all humans do is destroy it. People focus in their imaginary god figure that blind them to the true reality of the world we are living in.

@@outis439-A it's literally an interview dumbass. The interview is exact quotes exactly what she said. It's illegal to print fake interview answers. The book has hundreds of interviews and not a single person has sued claiming they didn't actually say that. Also they need interviewees to sign off what they've printed is accurate before it's published.
