I can't wait for Bramley Moor to open its gates, but I'll miss Goodison. As nice as Bramley Moor will be, it won't have the intimacy and the neighbourhood feel that Goodison has.
Just a couple of other ones I must mention: Oakland A's (possibly), Arizona Coyotes, New York Islanders. Not exactly the biggest or the best stadiums though.
Aberdeen FC are moving away from their historic Pittodrie Stadium within the next year or two. Another Scottish team Edinburgh City are moving in to a fantastic multi-purpose stadium called Meadowbank. They used to play there but they haven't played there in a while due to construction works to the new stadium. It looks fantastic!
Could be a while before Aberdeen move away now. Seems like it's been delayed quite a bit. Meadowbank is finished. I went earlier this season and it really isn't made to watch football. Fans miles away from the pitch due to the running track. The stand only holds 500 people and the front row view is obstructed by a barrier. Edinburgh are hoping to make it a better experience by January 2023 but quite frankly they couldn't make it any worse.
I agree. Great looking stadium. The new stadium in Sydney is disappointing. They should have put a retractable roof. People will still get wet and it gets windy there. Missed opportunity.
The Stadium looks great and Doesn't need a retractable roof, not sure how that guy can say it looks cheap from just a render the roof looks similar to that of Adelaide Ovals roof.

Yes indeed, the new stadium certainly is more suitable for Nippon Ham Fighters. But the reason of the current stadium is less suitable is because of the higher rent demanded by the stadium owner, the city council. As they raised the rent to the level which the team considered way too extortionate.
Rogers Centre (Skydome) in Toronto was the worlds first and only retractable roof stadium in 1989. It was build as a multiuse stadium, primarily baseball and Canadian football, but the Toronto Raptors played there, Buffalo Bills and many more. Because of the climate and multiple use requirement, Rogers Centre uses an artificial surface which has improved over the years but is still turf. Rogers and the city of Toronto are discussing building a dedicated baseball stadium on essentially the same site (just south) and tearing down the old dome. As much as I'd miss it, a modern, retractable roof baseball stadium with natural grass would be nice.

Historically, the medieval Greeks never called Constantinople by name; they called it “The City.” A popular Greek phrase that was commonly used was “Eis tin polin,” which meant “[in] to the City.” When the Turks captured the city, they liked the phrase so much that it eventually became the new name of the city: İstanbul.
