Nice man thanks for sharing that. I had wondered about those cylinders before, ended up ordering two oems instead. I might give one of these a shot tho for s and giggles
They’re decent for the price but very soft. I’ve never ported a cylinder that clogged my burrs like that did. None of the old tricks worked it’s just very sharp bits and light passes then stop and clean out the burr. When I raised the transfers I just used diamond the whole time and that honestly worked great. The numbers on mine out of the box were 105ex-130trans-73int that’s with no base gasket. No base gasket it still had a squish of .029-.030”
my numbers were a little different but im on a 350 style saw with alot of material taken off an aftermarket bearing cap... 110/124/74 .022...i almost always use a diamond on uppers
@@JandSChainsaw this was on a Jonsered 2149. Using crank stuffers and epoxy on modified cases. It’s kind of an experiment saw that’s why I wanted the aftermarket top end to see what happens. If it lives it lives and if not oh well lol
Not bad for 30 bucks...as you know I've used a few of them ..I really have no complaints 🤙🏻
yeah ive paid more for alot worse thats for sure...timing on it was about identical to the hyway i used on morgans saw....
