    Hello mam.. In your lecture of chugaev elimination reaction, you have said that we get Hofmann product. But in this lecture on comparing it with cope elimination at 14.41 you are saying cope elim will give Hofman product and chugaev will give saytzeff product.. Will you please explain it mam..       yes, when there is a comparison, a more strained intermediate in COPE reaction will ALWAYS give Hoffman product through 5 membered ring, however, the six membered ring may give a Saytzeff product too.
