Bhai 15220/- rs for the aquarium that is built by himself but everyone cannot do that even if you build it yourself there Will be chances of leakage in future which will not be a good option to go with as he is skilled and has done it many a times before. So don't go to build it yourself as an aquarium this big holds near about 700 ltrs of water and poor build might even cause the tank to explode which will be terrible indoors so kindly get it built by someone skilled in this and anyone skilled will charge you near about 4000 rs to build a tank this big and also the finish will be good I personally did that so just wanted to aware you guys cost will be around 20k for stock tank and rest depends on you how much you want to invest in the accessories

I dont know where do you live... but here is Kolkata 12mm doesn't cost 120rs/sq feet. Its more like 70 to 80rs at most at some places. I did a similar built for around 6 to 7K. Silicone costs 120rs to 150rs per bottle from local fish shops or markets; don't know what 250rs silicone ur using but its not necessary. Moreover u could have simplified the plumbing which could have cut its costs by 50%. You definitely over paid or over-engineered the build. Also I got my glass delivered to my door for 200rs...so it seems you overpaid in pretty much every thing related to the build. Also u forgot to add the construction cost for the room ! lol...you should have included that too

15,000 rupees is only $240. You got that (300 gallon?) aquarium built and all else for only $240? You would need at least 10x that amount to do the same thing here...maybe less if you built the Aquarium. Still in total,home built 300 gallon here would be pushing $1,000 easy with pumps,filters and lights and stand.
