- A lot has changed since the 1980s when the original Mule showed up ready to work, essentially creating the Side-x-Side scene as we know it today. But with the Ridge, Kawasaki is looking to take things to a new plateau.

30 grand? Wtf.
Hard top, speakers, GPS, 4 cylinder, and AC this is basically a full car
worth EVERY penny
Govt. would pay for it.
@fokuz02 Yea right!!! Not for working class people anyways lol
Depends on where you look, my dealership is letting them go a lot cheaper we just can't advertise below map+ rebates
32K? Crazy!
My local dealer is offering $8k off that price - but drive one first.
At that price, I’d be looking for an off-road capable crossover utility.
This is far better
I would just buy a stripped down Wrangler and call it a day...seriously!
@@johnfranklin1367 Do they even exist anymore? Stellantis has been “acting weird” lately.
You can get them well below MSRP, about 5k or more under actually.
Who is this price for? Who is buying that?
Sadly people pay that much everyday for a side by side
@bigseff23 Maybe everyone is rich or not afraid of debt.
People with more money than sense, thats who
Rich people my friend
Want, can't afford. Sigh
Why Ron Jeremy opening that tailgate 1:45 😂
For the price of one of these you could have 3 kei trucks or like 6 used S10/ Rangers😮
Two wheelin' with four wheels lol
I wonder how it rides compared to a 2 door jeep with bigger tires and decent shocks.
Probably a lot more comfortable since this has 4 wheel double wishbone suspension, this will beat most modded 4x4 on anything but huge rocks. It is expensive but so is buying a used Jeep and modding it.
@@jaredhuang2225 I would tend to agree. However, the wheelbase is a bit concerning for ride quality. I do prefer the ground clearance of a Jeep after off roading a Cherokee for 12 years and owning two Rzr's.
Much like an early (1955-early 70s) CJ-5 with just a hardtop cab. That what the CJ-5 was about: a spartan workhorse for industrial, agricultural or commercial purposes. Eventually AMC found the Jeeps also appealed to the general public and gained success marketing them as leisure vehicles.
A used Kvan is a lot cheaper if need for work 😮
I headed to my local Kawa dealer today fully expecting to buy a Ridge, having sold my Pioneer last week. Test drove three different models. Just my opinion, but what a disappointment. The cargo box is needlessly small, the engines were *very* noisy except at idle, especially in the cab models, and sounded and felt like they were constantly overrevving. The rig feels sluggish (like you’re driving with the parking brake engaged.) The experience was nothing like the reviews I've watched. Despite discounts and rebates up to $8k (!!!), I walked away. I *really* wanted to like this vehicle, but Kawasaki, in my opinion, missed the mark badly. I'm no engineer, but maybe the CVT transmission is at the heart of the problem? The best of the bunch was the Ranch model, because at least without a cab, the noise, while still way too loud for my taste, had 'somewhere to go,' so to speak.
I’m sure y’all have read the comments already but seriously I would suggest not putting a $32,000 side-by-side on y’all’s channel 😂
Who cares how much it cost? If you have the guts, then go for it.
4 wheelers have ruined so many hiking trails. Get off your lard arsches and hike.
I thought quads and dirt bikes weren't allowed on hiking trails?
