48:40 for the hype chats, I don’t think we should assume some viewers coming in know that Phil’s community clowns on and hates hype chats. Many other streams I watch have viewers frequently and casually using the hype chat in small and large amounts and get thanked for it all the same as regular donos. For some of those, I’m pretty sure some streamers just saw it pop up one day and aren’t away how much more expensive with little benefit it is to donate through that instead of normal dono methods. But generally, it’s never mentioned in other streams and it’s used all the time so I can imagine someone seeing his hype chat is set high and assuming it’s for a special/significant reason and want to use that instead of a normal dono. There’s nothing to tell them why he set the limit so high, they probably don’t know Phil doesn’t think it’s ok to use
Also, weird little thing I noticed about Hype chats Phil has gotten is I think every single one was from a new account that followed the same day. Are they all just unfamiliar with twitch and make new accounts a lot or could they not use hype chat from an older account?? I dunno
its because he was at the beginning of the QSMP but then he logged off and never came back so he dressed up as him as a funny cus nobody except the spanish and english streamers saw him on ther server lol
