The issue is he is upstaging his son. His son is in his shadow and when he's finally getting attention for his own play his dad is upstaging him. LeBron is a great dad but hes gotta realize how hard it is for kids to live up to their celebrity parents images, expecially when pursuing the same sport. If lavar did this people would be pissed. LeBron has to act like a father not a peer. And it is for attention. Why a over the top slam? Why else is he heel clicking after running on the court? At his sons game! Its not a practice, not a blacktop! Great man but he has to stop thinking it's all about him, when you have a son it should be all about your son!

LeBron is an uber selfish person and player...he demanded to play PG without the title so he could control his scoring and assists (yes he crested the selfish assist), and on defense he plays Power Forward so he can control his rebounds and start fast breaks when he wants. If a high schooler got in that lay up line we would all say “what the hell are you doing? Sit down” which makes a 34 year old doing it even worse.

I’m not an LBJ fan, although I’m a laker fan. BUT Lebron James has everyone where he wants them. Talking about him and talking about his son. He has stated that his dream is for Bronnie and himself to grace an NBA court together;(IMO accomplishing this transcends him above Jordan-or the media will) This is just Lebron ensuring that this comes to fruition. His son is good, but he knows that his son isn’t making as much noise as he did at that age, even with million dollar training. With a couple of chest bumps and some dunks; these sports “anal-yst” are all over it like a damn rash. The King wins again. Any publicity is good publicity.

LeBron dunked in his kid's dunk line because he wants everyone to look at him so he can push his brand and name around. It's classic hollywood. All of the celebrities do it. When they are irrelevent they do something stupid to get the light again. He's not in that for his son. He was there for his son by watching his game. He was there for himself when he dunked. There's a difference.

I don't care. Lebron loves playing and playing with 🏀. He must have some extra energy to do what he can show off. He rather looks like a person who is too generous to perform something he can to others or kids. Those kids will definitely remember and may talk about Lebron playing with them and and watching him dunking so close in the future. It must be a good memory on a star athlete, which seems to be pretty common in the US particularly among kids. (I have no encounter with any famous athletes or memories in a private life.)

I’m by no means a lebron fan, you could even say I’m a hater but I don’t have an issue with a dad wanting to hang out with his son. His son doesn’t mind it, the kids on his sons team don’t mind it so why do other people. The only thing is lebron should probably take it easy on those 40 inch vertical dunks, those knees are getting old.
This is just something that brings in ratings. Nothing more, nothing less.

We are missing the mark when we say this elevates his parenting some kind of way. LeBron is just as much of a good father as the ones sitting in the stands that go to every practice, and support their kids that way. Is it a huge deal to me? No... Would I do it? No. In my opinion, LeBrons star is huge enough just walking in the gym, not his faulth, but i would want to make my son and his friends the focal point as much as possible. I came up acting and doing plays, my dad didn't pop up in my practice with a scene and his own lines lol. Not an exact example but you get what I mean. Because he is LeBron and didn't have a father we are saying hes some super parent, no hes a normal parent, hes a normal dad like the rest of us, but we stay in our lane and let it be about our kids. News flash, Lebron is the only NBA dad with kids in AAU, and he isnt the only dad NBA or not who could be in the line dunking. We gone let all dads and moms get in the line if they want to?

Doug I highly doubt you read UA-cam comments but by some slim chance you do, this shouldn’t even be a topic. It’s ridiculous at this point the type of non stories the media will make into one concerning high profile athletes. Especially concerning LeBron James. He dunked during warmups at his son’s game, SO WHAT. Who’s hurt by it either way you look at it? Do you really think he needs attention? He could walk down the street somewhere and get that. Let these guys live and stop dissecting their every little move.
