I believe we should think of AI as an extension to be used at the time of Concept Design. Which means it's a tool that's part of the creative process and it's not the entire creative process. What I have seen, are projects using AI that are copies of Gaudi, GCA Architects, K Studio, some Mexican architects and so on ... AI is a wonderful tool when used together with our brain, so that we can create unique designs in conjunction with what our customers also propose to us. This is the output that can make all the difference.
Yes I agree - We need to control the narrative still in terms of guiding the trajectory for the results. I'm good with using it as a tool for enhancing creative outputs, but I don't advocate for a hands off approach since the AI outputs are only as good as the dataset inputs, and I would not imagine that the dataset inputs are so perfect that we should trust everything that is generated from them.
