Great vid guys, really enjoyed it. Just one thought though, perhaps for a future video: People who buy a folder are usually doing so because they have some sort of space/storage/transport issue (e.g it needs to fit in a car boot, or on a train, or be carried up stairs). So the person who buys a folder usually won't be interested in comparing it to a full size non folding bike like the e28. It's still an interesting comparison, but perhaps not as relevant as a like-for-like comparison would be. So I think another take on the issue of high and low budgets would be to compare a cheap folder to a more expensive one. In fact, why not compare four bikes, going up in say roughly £500 increments? I know you've done plenty of group tests, but not with a strong emphasis on comparing them, as you did here. So you'd go from say £500 to around £1000, then around £1500-2000, and maybe a £2000 plus bike to finish off. People could really get an idea what that extra money buys them. The thing that I think bites a lot of the cheap ebike buyers is reliability, but also poor component quality and poor design, leading to failures and problems. Maybe you guys could even start to set up a quality/reliability poll, and start gathering data on which bikes/makers have the most issues?
I thought the same thing. The use cases are completely different to me. Where I live there's nowhere to go except a handful of shops so the extra £1,000 probably wouldn't benefit me. Even if I could get to a train station, which would be dubious, I wouldn't take it on a train with me since I'd be going to London. Which £500 bike should you get to discover if you'll even use the thing and change your lifestyle? Should you buy a second hand one? Can you get a £500 second hand one that's reliable but cost someone else £2,000?
You guys consistently produce professional videos on here. I am amazed nobody has signed you up to show them on a tv channel. But if they ever do, don't change, don't change your style and don't change any of your presenters.
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
Any chance you could compare the AVAKA R1 Electric City Road Bike against the bike in this review? This is now available for £524 and is a like-for-like comparison. I’d really like to know if I need to spend that extra £1000.
1st of all the 2nd ebike is £1,700-ish not £1,500 as said,,its battery is only 10amp which basically the lowest on the market, its states high 40Nm(torque) which is again basically the lowest on market, these guys may mean well but dont buy any ebike until you know all the real information & price
Just being a complete novice to E-bikes, with the Estarli, it’s looks great especially with the batteries in the frame. How if anything went wrong with the batteries would you remove them from the frame or is it fixed?
Other than I can't afford one lol. Actually I've seen UA-camrs get free e-bikes to review but never seen a company give someone who has never ridden an e-bike one. Maybe they would get some good reviews if they did?
Just buy a Lankelesi MG750 Plus it's a 48 Volt 20 Amp 2 X 1000 Watt yes that's 2000 Watt. Obviously they haven't tried Ali Express. I think I should be the researcher. Thank me later Folks. Oh and it's £1500.
If you'd done your research you'd know that this channel has covered Cyrushers, Engwes, Fiidos, Nanrobot high performance scooters, the lot. This video is a plug for their own shop, where they are adhering strictly to EU regs.

Wow what a compliment! Thank you! 😊
@@Electroheads My pleasure ☺

The cheap one looks illegal. Looks like it has a throttle
Both of these bikes have been reviewed before by Ailish right?

More car reviews please. Maybe split the channel into two ? One for electric cars and one for e-bikes
Bro just go watch carwows
Do you not have dutch style electric bikes? the bikes you are showing don't have chainguards or fenders, or bagage racks on them wich are so usefull

No you can remove the battery out from the bottom
@@danhughes3318 ok thanks
£500? You should’ve compared with samebike 20lvxr or A20+ or PVY z20 pro
The small one,, seat far to low agony to peddle
The problem with cheap e-bikes: you get what you pay for.
So what's "The problem with cheap e-bikes"?
Other than I can't afford one lol.

Don't think this was apples with apples better if you had compared say eleglide m1 with estali e28 that would be a more comparable test
The trouble with these reviews is that they are very London centric. A sub £700 Himo Z20 would be a better competitor for the Estarli
I love their videos but it would be better if they say "city" instead of "London".
They're a fire 🔥 hazards as well, its the cheap questionable brands that catch fire.
Dang I sure feel sorry for your crippling ebike rules across the pond. My ebike goes 55 km/h, & has a throttle. SUX2BU
All you are going to get with that small one are knee problems 😂
It's , not
1500 stil scheap
