Try simply applying a mild acidic solution to break it loose, Hell then little heat. And. Lmao. I saw one comment that was awesome, “It’s to help seal the air in”. Lmao. No the valve stem is no good if it can’t perform it’s main job. The cap for protection to stem. Good Lord.
Thank you mate. Will be doing this at the weekend.
YOU BETTER.
@BANE.-. I done it 4 years ago. All good now.
With the Dremmel tool you successfully melted the aluminum onto and into the copper threads. Job well done.
THANKS, BRO.
Use the plastic ones instead ( So long as they are the type that have a rubber O ring in the top to help seal the air in)
Next video... How to change a valve stem.
😀😀😀😀 I had 2 pairs of pliers in mind . One for the stem and on for the cap . If that fails will use heat from lighter
You missed that physics class when they would’ve told you that heat makes metals expand.
Should’ve used a torch for this job
Why do companies offer such a shitty product? I destroyed a valve trying to remove the aluminum cap.
I Used a Dremel to get mine off
will never use chrome valve cap again
YES YOU WILL!
YOU BETTER!!!!

Hello Frank, could you please tell me the name of the tool you used to unscrew the cap at the beginning? I cannot find it🥲
its a hexagon shape cap so he used a socket and socket wrench
