@@kryptonianotaku4975 It's also pretty meta (I'm guessing) that the characters keep telling him to not talk which is probably what the real actor was told in season 1, 2 and 3.
He honestly may have always been a psycho. When homelander asks him, deep, and a train to beat those people with bats he's the first to start bashing heads and didn't even seem to hesitate, even if he does go on to say "that was so effed up you guys!"
I heard someone say that since he was number 1 at godolkin, he was likely extremely desensitised to killing people before joining the 7. He didn’t like it sure but it’s not like he was that freaked out by the idea of killing people. This is reinforced by the fact that after ONE conversation with the deep about how violence is power, he gets turned on after killing ‘also ashley’. So basically my point is that he was basically already messed up in the head lmao and joining the 7 made it worse.

he's really expressive with his hands and body movements that's why they tried to convince him to stay. he was already perfect for the role, just needed to stop wanting his face to be popular
Well, Homelander once already afforded himself to be cruel to Noir. That's turned out completely wrong and I'm more than sure he blames himself for that. I believe that's also the reason why he don't get angry to him sleeping on meetings and overall being more patient about new Noir - because he knows he is the reason why old one, loyal one - is dead.
@@lonelylama5222Well to be fair it's not just "some guy with a mask", it's Black Noir, a member of the Seven and one of the most popular Superheroes in The Boys universe. I'm sure a decent amount of supes would be willing to take the role, especially after seeing how much it pays.
@@uthopia27 I'd assume everyone within Vought knows Noir is dead, as we see the new Noir talk many times throughout season 4 and everyone around him acts like it's normal, not "wait why is Noir talking now?" As for the actors though they might not know what role they are auditioning for until they actually get hired but the pay alone would probably be enough for most Supes to accept the role with or without knowing exactly what it is.
Its just a part of the job, yknow? Like, most people don't know, but the seven _take people out_ rather frequently. That's part of it, of the dream, of being one of the Seven. Its about compromise with this line of working
Its so funny Homelander is the one manages the seven and hes really letting someone to get an audience for new noir. Seriously? Noir lied in front of homelander and got himself killed. Did homelander really asking for someone... totally random, be in the seven? This is not the typical homelander that would ask random people be in the Seven, let alone letting someone cosplay as someone he already killed
After Translucent, the Seven had almost always been incomplete. They lost The Deep, A-train, Stormfront, Starlight, Maeve, and finally Noir. If Deep and A-train were never brought back, only Homelander would be the remaining original Seven member left by S4. Not counting new Noir, there were only 3 of the 7 left. Prior to the events of the show, only Mr. Marathon and Lamplighter were replaced. Mr. M around 8 years ago, replaced by A-train, then Lamplighter replaced by Starfire. Having more than two members gone for literal years is a major hit for their brand, especially Maeve and Noir at once.
Homelander cannot be arsed with the tedious busywork of interviewing numerous candidates. He just wants to feel like he is in control. With him now in control of Vought, he has no issue delegating such laborious tasks to his subordinates.
