    Helpful and good video. Have you tried the newer Mikrotik LHGG LTE6 unit? The Huawei B2368 is a lot more money than the Mikrotik for not really any more performance than the Huawei.

    The Mikrotik LHG lte6 is a great product, but Mikrotik made the mistake of blocking the lan port at 10/100 Mbit .. a nonsense from my point of view. Luckily you can do a nice bypass and use another better routerboard, keeping the LHG as an antenna only :).
    I recently ordered a MikroTik Chateau LTE 18 (RBD53G-5Hac-D2HnD--EA), can't wait to get my hands on it to see how it performs.

      thanks, I'll take a look at that. Currently I can not RX more than 100Mbps download speed anyway as a mast hits the limiter at around 90.

      The new lhgg lte6 antenna has Gigabit ethernet tho

      @@dpiccoli01 yes i have a LHGG; I am currently waiting for some products to make a modification, in order to then be able to move from the basic lte category 6 to the lte category 16 (5x CA 256 qam and so on).

      @@uiblogit let me know how that went. What speeds did you get? I got no improvement with LHGG over LTE4 one.

      @@circuitdotlt Hi, in my case I modified the LHGG making it an lte 16 category so that I can take advantage of the 4 bands present in my reference bts: www.uiblog.it/2021/02/modifica-modulo-lte- della-mikrotik-lhgg-lte6-kit / then, for those who want to have the 3CA instead, they can opt for the modification with a cat12 module: www.uiblog.it/2021/05/quectel-em12-g-cat -12-lte-a-su-mikrotik-lhgg-lte6-kit /
      With the modification with a category 16 module I almost always get a download between 190/220 Mbit and an upload on 50/62 Mbit. Therefore, until FTTH arrives (if it ever does, given how things are going); I will keep the LTE as the other solutions I tried unfortunately did not guarantee satisfactory results.

    B2368 is extremely weatherproof, how about Mikrotik LHG?

  • @softripper

    Hi!. Good comparison, but i've a question about B2368. The test with this router was indoor or outdoor? because it make a big difference for a short distances from tower. I want to buy the Mikrotik because my B2368 does not provide good service. Thanks!

    LHGG LTE6 just released with 1Gbps port.

      just bought the gigabit mikrotik LTE6 LHGG, compared with older mikrotik LTE4. No difference.
      My cell tower is 7km away, SINR 10dB.

    • @olivertiit
      @olivertiit 3 роки тому

      @@circuitdotlt SINR 10dB is a little on low side. LTE spec says good signal is 13+ and excellent 20dB. Try to get it as high as possible.

    Mikrotik are really nice machines.
    Wonder how the little SXT LTE6 would fare against the LHG.

    • @arraiexe4373
      @arraiexe4373  4 роки тому +3

      In my case, SXT LTE would be as good as LHG - I'm mostly in line-of-sight, but since they're quite closley priced, I went for LHG. When you are in, lets say, heavily forested area and more than 5 km from nearest LTE mast, your choise would be LHG.

    Sulta puuttuu noiden solujen antennikeilat, miten suunattu ja millä pandeilla ? Itse tehnyt samoja mittauksia cellmapperillä ja huaveillä ja samalla 17db mikrotikillä ja pienemällä mikrotikillä. antennikeiloilla, taajuudella ja suuntauksella suuri merkitys.. ja itse pidän laatumittaria parempana ( RSRQ ) kuin kohinaa..

    hei, kas sult saaks natuke konsultatsiooni LHGG LTE6 käivitamiseks Elisaga. Sim on sees, aga LTE signaali ei teki, softi uuendada ei lase. Juhend ütleb, et logi sisse ja uuenda softi. Seal jookseb juba kinni (Error: could not resolve dns name). Hulluks võib minna:) Mis võiks valesti olla...

    get a huawei cat19 modem that would give you around 120-130mbps down and 65-75 upload with antennas

    Hi
    Is there a device that receives the cell phone signal?
    3G 4G 5G
    From a distance of 60 km to 100 km

    • @olivertiit
      @olivertiit 3 роки тому +1

      No. At that distance curvature of earth would start to block signal. If tower would be 100m tall, even then you can only have 35km of line of sight. (provided that there are no hills on the way). Not to mention other aspects like purely distance + how narrow beam must be (I guess 0.1mm of antenna moving with wind would already loose the signal, and having higher power transmitter would not be legal + cell tower towers power is not in your control) + atmosphere interference at those distances are substantial.
