this was one of my first 5 bourbons back in 2019. just bought a refill.
I've had one of these bottles sitting around for at least a year. I haven't opened it yet. I probably need to try it. cheers
I found it on clearance for $25 ( bought 3) . I was pleasantly surprised. It is way more complex that 1793 . I would not pay $55 for it though.

Glad everyone’s taste is different, I rather enjoy Bib 6 year. Think it’s stand on its on, the viscosity is good and the sweetness is upfront and smooth. I’ve actually found myself going back to it several times.
When WT 101 is on the shelf for $24, this bottle is a pass all day long. Had exactly one bottle of this because the bottle looked cool. It isn’t a $50 bottle at all.
People say the bottle looks cool but ive never been a fan. Looks like fake old timey decor to me.
I am glad to hear the love going to Evan Williams 1783! One of my favorite sippers. A 1.75 L goes for 34 bucks in my area. A delicious budget pour. I love E. W. BIB too.
Brought one here in Australia for 130 or 160...I remember thinking dam..better be worth it .yep the whole low proof and only 6yr age statement things was making me feel like it cost too much..but since I've never seen it..and it was the last bottle...the fear of missing out is real lol..cheers guys ..I still haven't opened it...looks like I'll hold off... doesn't sound like I will enjoy this ..cheers for your thoughts guys
Not good for the price, ive had samples a couple times and its just too light and very fresh cut grass to me. Its dickel distillate aged in #1 char.
Buy it all drink it endless

This was advertised so heavily that it turned me away. I wonder why they pushed it so hard and your review makes sense. Nothing special to it but too high of a price tag to sell organically.

I found it for $25 on clearance...I wouldn't buy it again, even for that price. It isn't terrible, but there isn't much at all going on here.

Save your money, used it as a mixer due to lack of flavor.
Proof and price are not the same. I feel that the two of you have become proof snobs, to a degree. Some of us can't stand a 120 proofer. The mouth feel and spike are just a bit off-putting. I'm not speaking to this bourbon, but just a general observation. There are plenty of great sub 100 proof whiskies that cost more than $35, and are still with the extra. Again, proof and price are not the same. Not even correlated.
