I went to about almost the 6month mark with scj. It never felt right tho ...but I kept going. Initially they told me that Jesus wasent God, and I should have stopped right there, but I gave them a chance. Plus my first 2 one on one instructors were just so lovely to talk to. I really enjoyed that. I kept asking what church were they affliated with and they only kept saying....in time...in time. That bothered me also. Once they finally revealed themselves, I just let it go. I did lots of research, and I found ex members testimonies online. My sister is still with them unfortunately. Please pray for her. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I got engaged with SCJ after 1 month of foundational classes , qualified for advanced studies felt lil of , went to the internet saw many ex member videos , connected the dots and I believe they have twisted the doctrine and interpretate it on their own accord , I confronted them regarding the same today and they dodged all my questions and kept on beating around the bush ,like do you believe that oy your church members are saved and the advisor went on saying it's God's will for everyone to be saved but he can't save everyone at the same time and many more ,
When I asked them why don't you take the name of Jesus in the classes devoted to character of God or he is word dwell in flesh and their reply was the fulfillment of word is flesh dwell with us etc
it was so confusing and folks confusion doesn't come from God

I eventually gave up and i said the
need to read bible on my own first before letting someone interpretate it for me & since evening I'm being insisted on meeting Instructor but I'm not entering that pithole again.
( they wanted me to cut off internet& not to read or watch videos and said what do you want to follow People or God's word and was asked not to doubt the word but I never questioned the word but their doctrine and beliefs which they couldn't tell clearly just pushing it on to advanced level studies we'll get there).
Folks before enrolling for bible study please ask what their doctrine or beliefs dictate and for that you need to The bible for yourself and needless to say our beloved Holy Spirit!

Great, great interview and I know this is a hot topic for those with family members inside these organizations. For the World Mission Society Church of God, sometimes members do pretend to be ex-members to gather intel on former members to then take it back to the church so that they can try to "discredit" those people to members they used to know. For me, I have no problem talking to current members and maintaining confidentiality, but the moment someone is deceptive, they can go to someone else for assistance. That's my personal boundary.
I agree. I also set that boundary
I need ways to refute the wmscog. they have taken hold of someone most dear to me, and this person is so ingrained that its effecting our relationship
