    Hi AJ how are you today ? It’s March here. 2022 and getting ready for spring. I am installing a wiper system from honda and just got the heater from inferno , and a winch ,I need to do some electrical work and install a dual battery system and switches for all the options I’m installing .this is not easy working on the talon they don’t give you much space for things that’s for sure .I’m also going to try to seal up most of the body openings to keep the dust and dirt out of the cab .i think my ideas will work out well . You take care and enjoy your Talon . You did some nice work to yours .

      Thanks. I hope you get all that done before riding season. And I have another video showing some of my wires and relays too. Please check it out maybe something can help.

    how are the tires holding up? trying to decide on a 30x10x15 for my 21 non live valve x4. going with the system 3 6+1 in the front and 4+3 in the rear since our state law is sxs have to stay under a certain width. have been exhausting my brain with trying to decide on what tire to get i checked out the carnivores but they only come in a 32. not a lot of feedback on these really looking for something that has some bite but also good road/hard trail manners. i don't want to loose the handling or softer ride but want a little more grip and durability. also with those offsets do you have a recommendation on a rear spacer size? thanks in advanced your talon looks great

      Hello BP207. The tires are awesome. I rotated them at 900 miles and I am again around 1500 miles the are barely showing ware. It will climb like a mountain goat.

      Also I rode mine on the highway a lot it does great at 60 mile an hour I am running 14psi

      I use 1 1/2” spacer’s in the rear. I am glad I got the 5-2 wheels,

    • @BrandonP207
      @BrandonP207 2 роки тому

      @@AJWildhorse do you think the 1.5 would be best I my situation with the stock offsets? I wish I could do 5+2 all around to help with rotations but with the new state laws it would make me over. what do you normally run the psi at on the trail? and any rubbing with the 30? any leaks from the beadlocks? sorry for all the questions but before dropping nearly 2k on wheels and tires really trying to get as much info as possible I really do appreciate it

    • @AJWildhorse
      @AJWildhorse  2 роки тому +1

      @@BrandonP207 that’s not a problem. I think the factory rear is a 4+3 you might have to go with those to keep them close to the width. I do like to rotate them because the rear ware’s down quicker than the fronts, my buddies drop there air pressure down to close to 10psi but they pinch tire’s so I keep mine at 14 all the time so can run the highway to a trail then do good off road,and they have never rubbed I think the 30” are perfect for the talon, they don’t bogg it down. No leaks system 3’s are awesome, and I am glad to help any way I can.

    What width are those tires? Trying to decide how wide I want to go. Going to the same size all the way around.

    • @AJWildhorse
      @AJWildhorse  2 роки тому

      30-10-14” on 14” wheels. 5/2 offset. Yes I am rotating mine too. It helps

      @@AJWildhorse I don’t plan on replacing the wheels. Do you like the width? I am looking at a light truck mud tire. 9.5 wide or 10.5 wide are the options.

    • @AJWildhorse
      @AJWildhorse  2 роки тому

      @@justinpepper2373 oh yea I kinda wish I got truck tires too. I drive mine on the highway a lot. But you have to be careful about the weight of them also. I think BF good wrench tires makes something nice.

      @@AJWildhorse weight in reference to wearing our wheel bearings or drag on power? If I go with the 9.5 they are 41lbs each and the 10.5 are 47lbs each.

      @@justinpepper2373 yea wheel bearings. And it does Robb some power too I got a Dyno jet flash for mine and it helped. Stay close to 40lb as you can. Truck tires could have steel belts UTV tires don’t

    We just got one . Where do you recommend getting some of these after market parts . Think we want to do rear mud flaps and front bumper to start .thx

    • @AJWildhorse
      @AJWildhorse  3 роки тому +1

      I put mud busters mud flaps on and extended the fronts. And it helped a lot. Super ATV is where I got some stuff and they where great with a warranty on my windshield. Little stuff you can get from Kimi Moto. I think that’s how you say it.

    Great looking machine I am definitely fan of the talon group. I would love to see a video after you did a ride and tell us where you rode and give some feedback on the machine. Are you running 32s are you going to change lower A-arms or radius rods for clearance. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

    Did you buy this to ride on the roads in town ? I HEARD THAT, riding on hard surfaces will wear more on the trans and clutch parts . Do you think that is true? Your car is awesome looking. You did a great job customizing it, NOW GO GET IT DIRTY !

    • @AJWildhorse
      @AJWildhorse  2 роки тому

      Yes I ride it all over our county to other trails. We can ride on all black top roads in our county. I have noticed that sharp curve’s and turning street corners put a lot of stress on the axels it show on the tires deep scratches so I slow down and turn as wide as I can. And I keep 14lb in the tires so they will scoot easy. I just got more dirt on it yesterday up in the mountains.

    Can you show a picture of the rear roof top bolt lowing the roof pitch. I cut my plastic under the roof but not sure how you bolted it down.

      The bolt is a 1/4 “ stainless steel Phillips head. And I useful the lock nut to pull it down to where I wanted it and then run the other nut down to lock it in place. I found some one inch foam tape to put between the top and roll bar to seal off the opening.
