Argentina is the largest generator of electricity from nuclear energy in South America. The country is working to further expand their nuclear energy sector with additional power plants, but currently lacks domestic uranium production. Large scale production could make Argentina a strategic exporter of uranium to the international nuclear energy sector.

I just returned from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was hoping to visit nearby Valcheta and drive over to Amarillo Grande. However, I ran out of time - it's 700 miles from B.A. Earlier in my career called on the nuclear industry to provide boric acid and borates to the energy industry. Lots of vanadium is extracted near uranium too!
