The 18th season of "America's Got Talent" returns with a new set of aspiring performers looking to compete for the ultimate $1 million prize. Executive Producer Simon Cowell returns to the star-studded judging panel with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. The dynamic Terry Crews returns as host. This season promises to deliver some of the wildest acts to ever grace the "AGT" stage.

Ikr? Hahaha if they went full on crazy chops the judges would be like “it’d be better if the drumming was actually good” lol. But hey it’s great publicity for the sport! Plus the chops were still there!
Funnily enough, they played a lot of their features from their 2023 show, you just have to look for them
I love how they used their bass opener, snare feature and many parts of their '23 indoor show in this performance
That why they are still practing parts of their actual show while doing this for fun haha
I never knew there were INDOOR drum competitions. DCI is amazing, but the audience experience inside must take it up a notch. Great job!
100% I've seen these live, and every performance, even the "bad" ones are just... powerful. No other way to put it. As cool as this was, it doesn't come across 1% of what seeing it live does.
The competitive season runs from February to April. Everyone should check it out in 2024!

Yup. That’s why they pay $2500 a year to be part of the group after they got contracted at auditions
I got to see them win at WGI World Championships this year - truly an amazing ensemble. I hope they make it through auditions and get to show how crazy indoor drumline visuals can be!

It's so awesome seeing the crowd's reaction to Pulse. I competed against Pulse with a different group in indoor and this is so awesome seeing them on AGT! Excellent performance Pulse! 💜
I competed against these peeps when I was with Stryke this year at WGI! Pulse is definitely a force to be reckoned with-end they haven’t shown what they can actually do yet (this audition was in the middle of their competitive season, so they probably spent a weekend memorizing all of this). i can’t wait to see their AGT journey, as well as how much light they’ll shine on WGI from this!

It really isn’t about the money for Pulse. I’m sure there’s so many programs in California and Drum Corps they could help with 1 million dollars, but to them it’s the fire and passion of performing. Way to go Pulse, nice way to introduce the mainstream to our activity with a blend of something they’d enjoy, with a clean visual and musical program as well.
That crowd has no idea the talent they just got to behold. Thanking you for bringing our activity into the mainstream!
I got SO excited when I saw Pulse was competing! DESPERATELY hoping for the rest of the ensemble to be added, but I know space and time are huge! Absolutely wonderful performance!! 😤👏👏👏
They are WGI World Class Percussion Champions. John Mapes and Ian Grom are the head instructors there. They are some of the top instructors
How is it "WORLD CHAMPIONS" ? when its a only a American Inter State National competition not an International World Event. ?? Its just stupid Americans calling their national sport and art events titles as WORLD, giving a false senses of achievement in their own living bubble.. No wonder when Americans travel out they talk stupid.

@@erin1758 John Mapes became the instructor of the HS I attended after I graduated. Ian Grom and me attended the same HS. He was 2 grades above me

That’s my favorite drum band I’ve seen on the show so far! The choreography and the timing of everything is great I think!
They’re a drum line called pulse percussion and they compete against other drum lines in a competition called wgi. I definitely would look them up and other groups on UA-cam. It’s a very incredible sight to see and hear!

I performed in A Class World Championships in 2022 with Ninety Six Highschool, and then went back last year as a tech. Pulse Percussion (honorable mention to Avon also), was undoubtably one of the biggest and most hyped highlights of our experience.
I taught at Clover and marched at Civitas that season. You guys were great!
avon was also one of my favorite shows from that year!

@SimpleRikc DCI is good for ensemble stuff, but when it comes to being a percussionist, WGI is much better than DCI percussion. Cause in WGI you can't hide behind a full ensemble

It's very rare to see us corps-style folk get mainstream spotlight. Most of the lights and cameras go to the HBCU/show guys. Glad to see some of that spotlight shine on us every once in a while.
Besides Drumline, HBCU bands get about as much of the spotlight as the rest of the marching arts

@@steamedbryce I suppose that's true, but then there's shows like Marching Orders which focus on the culture and rehearsal aspects of BCU's Marching Wildcats. [Very formidable band just so we're clear ;)]
I don't know. I guess it would just be nice to have a show or documentary focused on a corps-style group like the Blue Devils, Crown, Broken City, Pulse, etc...
@@fadethechanneloutdoor otherwise known as DCI (Drum Corp International) is basically brass, percussion, and guard on the football field where they compete at a prestigious level (these are performers who audition for these groups from all over the US and sometimes internationally). DCI is not your typical college/high school marching band.
Indoor as known as WGI or Winter Guard International is reserved for the colder season when marching outside isn’t a viable option. Therefore they use an indoor gym to keep up with their chops and essentially practice all year round when summer comes back around. WGI is mostly divided by just percussion, just guard, and sometimes just wind instruments with some percussion and guard. The floor they typically march on would be a tarp with a visual graphic design to enhance show design. Generally for WGI it’s much more theatrical in performance while keeping up with music. Color guard will perform as a solo group away from wind instruments and perform along a sound track with many visuals. Percussion will be composed of battery (marching drums) and front ensemble (mallet percussion). They however have their own written music and perform much more visually with lots of choreography than DCI. Some choreography is much more demanding than the marching itself especially with wearing drums on.
