You guys must not be watching in 1440p like DW recommends. The ball falls in front of the foul pole, not over it, and lands foul which makes it a foul ball.
Just curious on if an "old softball rule" has been changed...I used to play "B-Class" (obviously not good enough to play at the level these guys are), but when we accidentally hit a solo-HR, we would simply not drop the bat, & instead would carry it to 1st base...And the former rule stated that if a hitter touches First Base with the bat still in hand, it's an automatic out...I'd hope they changed this rule by now, but just wasn't sure.
This was crazy, AA conference players not swinging the bat in slowpitch. Not to be a debbie downer but they lost themselves this game. Otherwise a great watch as usual!
I get it if this was your local coed game. But these pitchers are doing a lot and can make these balls dance. So you can’t approach every pitch as if it’s a meatball. Because it isn’t and you’ll never get a nice pitch to hit
The subtle shade thrown at 15:01 is hilarious. Love the commentary.
That grand slam was as fair of a ball as you will see. Crazy how the umpire missed that.
I was watching and was like, what? Had to go back an watch it in slow motion. Don't know how he missed that one. Surprised they didn't lose it.
100%… He called it where it landed instead of when it crossed the fence

Nice job videoing and commentary and thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I tell you what, that backup Str8play pitcher is much much better than his body stature leads to think. Dude is a stud.
Obviously a stud or he wouldn’t be on a team at this level.
Great ball player and great guy as well

Gilly with a couple big hits. Lead off the 7th and the go ahead homerun with 2 outs
It should be illegal against your manhood to have to bounce it to first as a 2B.
For all Jones theatrics on the mound he sure ain't fielding ANYTHING hit at him
Wasn’t Robo also the one that made a big deal about retiring last year?

You have to drop the bat or you are out.
So what is the deal with the IF skipping the ball to 1B? It can't be faster than just throwing it, right?
It gives the thrower a bit more control. Throwing softballs tend to sail a lot over the 1b head. The bounce clearly prevents that.
Accuracy
@@saljablo2767 I would never have considered this. Interesting.
Why would you build a field on a slope??
Maybe drainage? Or it could have been a hilly area and hard to make all 10 fields level. Not sure.
Am I tripping or was that a homerun that was called foul?
The Kampfer one I think was foul.
That ump was struggling all game.
I was wondering if it was foul or not, but I wasn't there and it's not like they have 5 angles to choose from like MLB.
Strike zone wasn’t consistent both ways
I was going to comment the same thing. Sports reach was getting the high and deep strike called in their favor consistently for most of the game.
Never is in USSSA worst assortment of umpires in any organization
Maybe shouldn't of made the switch at 1st?

Huh? final score was 40-35... lots of runs for not swinging the bat...
@@Lilgyouknow Did you watch the same video I did? The amount of strikeouts is mind boggling for this being at the highest level lol
@@NovaHDPvPin conference it’s about working counts and getting the best pitch you can get to drive.
