I love it!!! He reminds me of my first gay friend when I came out in 88, name Charlie. We were so close until people that we were a couple. We had tons of inside jokes and we could make each other laugh without saying a word. He did drag, but not for fame, but to entertain his creative side. In 97, I moved back to LA and he stayed in Santa Barbara. 20 plus years came and went, (us both living our lives) and when I turned 50 a group of my friends from the 90's got together in Santa Barbara to help me celebrate. Sadly, in September 2019. I got word that Charlie had passed away from an diagnosed brain tumor, in his husband's arms. I'm glad we had the that last evening together on my birthday. Before we parted and said goodbye, I looked him in the eyes and said I love you! I thought we would go into getting older together. Joshing each other about me losing my hair and he, coloring his grey roots "Charlielocks" red. That laughter is now silent and those memories only play out in my mind. But to whom ever reads this and has a friend like my Charlie, keep him or her close. Remember every detail about your time together and don't take any laughter or giggle for granted. Because one day, you'll be the sole keeper of those memories. Much Love! Willie

I actually like that they did this. It's nice to get a peek into other people's lives especially when their private lives are so different from their public personas. Is the house incredible, and AD worthy? Well probably not, however, it's a realistic home attainable by many. Plus it gives people who live similarly ideas on how they can change, improve, and/or decorate their own homes since we get to see a little bit of how this person decorates. Justin seems like a very nice person (I honestly have no idea who he is other than what is shared on this video), and he seems like someone who would be fun to hang out with and just sit and have a meal and good conversation with. Thanks for this!
I love Alyssa/Justin because she/he is a hard-worker but you can tell that she values family, her friends, and well-being, especially in an industry riddled with addiction and dark-sideness. I love that she takes her hustle seriously and doesn't compromise her values.
No lol. Wigs aren't cheap, and Alyssa is known for having nice wigs overall, her average wig is probably $100-250 but she has some really exquisite, human-hair, lace-fronts that would run from $500-$1000. Very pricey, but not $5000 lol. Lady Gaga's wigs weren't even $5k.

Doubtful unless they’re wearing Beyoncé style human wigs or Rihanna weaves they’re only a couple hundred I deal with the same wig stylists and it’s always 100-300 for a nice styled wig. Note for something super fancy and custom. If you can style them you can get them off amazon for 50-70 dollars for a nice thick wig

Seriously. I live in Texas. I see that particular style of house in the upper middle class suburban neighborhoods. You have to have some dough for something like this. It's not a 'standard' or 'simple' house at all.
ain't none of the people saying this is rich. This is an upper class home just shy of being considered a mansion. I bet this property was nothing shy of a million dollars, and that's not taking into consideration the $100k+ he spent renovating the backyard and creating that pool.
This is in no way a "normal house" in America. Texans might be used to big houses because their motto is "everything is bigger in Texas". But for most Americans this is nowhere near the type of house people live in. I think the reason people are knocking this house is because (they're probably well off themselves) and the house is a little borderline "McMansion" (look up the definition if you don't know what it means). It's kind of like a house parading as a "mansion" when it's really just a cheaply built big house. But with that said, a lot of Americans would feel rich living in that house.
FalleNstaR I was raised in New England (Massachusetts) and this is what the houses looked like in my neighborhood, and I considered myself to be pretty middle class. Someone even had an ice rink in their backyard lol. I’m guessing houses like these are pretty standard across some parts of the us.

A few things different from his Netflix show. In that he had only just purchased the house yet here he says he has hosted quite a lot. He didn't have the beautiful outdoor area in the show either. Why should a Drag Super Star live outrageously? I was expecting pretty outrageous space. So, I was very interested in the space Alyssa Edwards (aka Justin Dwayne Johnson ;) ) revealed to us. The juxtaposition of Justin (and his stage presence Alyssa) living simply gives rise to cognitive dissonance, for me, at least, when I think about, in particular, Justin's stage presence, Alyssa. Thanks Justin for opening up your home to AD !! And, thanks AD for showing us a cultural icon of the drag world living in her physical space. A fair bit of criticism in the comments (the world would be a boring place without criticism). This is the Queen I didn't know I needed. I've kind of let go of the whole Drag Queen milieu as its saturated in negativity and nastiness and that's not what I want to consume anymore (used to think it was funny, like many others do). This is in no way a "normal house" in America. Texans might be used to big houses because their motto is "everything is bigger in Texas". But for most Americans this is nowhere near the type of house people live in. I think the reason people are knocking this house is because (they're probably well off themselves) and the house is a little borderline "McMansion" (look up the definition if you don't know what it means). It's kind of like a house parading as a "mansion" when it's really just a cheaply built big house. But with that said, a lot of Americans would feel rich living in that house.
Cyprus Lavigne he’s from Texas, so this is 400-650k. Still a lot, but it’s definitely not as expensive as other states.
FalleNstaR I was raised in New England (Massachusetts) and this is what the houses looked like in my neighborhood, and I considered myself to be pretty middle class. Someone even had an ice rink in their backyard lol. I’m guessing houses like these are pretty standard across some parts of the us.

A few things different from his Netflix show. In that he had only just purchased the house yet here he says he has hosted quite a lot. He didn't have the beautiful outdoor area in the show either. Looks beautiful. Plus he was looking for love in the show. Here he seems to have a long term partner. Things are getting better every day. Congrats Alyssa.

I had never heard of AD or its snobbish and shallow readers/viewers. I came here only to see where the gorgeous Alyssa Edwards lives and, as far as my spending "power" is concerned, she lives in a gorgeous and expensive place.

Equally important when considering physical space are the occupants. The two go hand in hand. And as turns out, birds of a feather may not always flock together! Why should a Drag Super Star live outrageously? I was expecting pretty outrageous space.
So, I was very interested in the space Alyssa Edwards (aka Justin Dwayne Johnson ;) ) revealed to us. The juxtaposition of Justin (and his stage presence Alyssa) living simply gives rise to cognitive dissonance, for me, at least, when I think about, in particular, Justin's stage presence, Alyssa. Thanks Justin for opening up your home to AD !! And, thanks AD for showing us a cultural icon of the drag world living in her physical space.
A fair bit of criticism in the comments (the world would be a boring place without criticism). But, this video is a reminder to consider the occupant of a space and why that person created and lives in that space.

This is the Queen I didn't know I needed.
