Looks easy enough. Probably a good way to start a chassis repair project...
I 💜 CRTs and will be using this to clean my 1989 Zenith!! Thank you for this video! :]
Well that is an interesting way to clean a CRT.
Thanks! I tought you needed to use distilled water. Any views?
Honestly, between a few of us here in Calgary we’ve done hundreds of monitors this way in the last decade and never used distilled. Plus Calgary water is quite hard. Never had a problem.
just toss the monitor.🌊📺...INTO THE POOL next to you...let it soak about 1/2 hr,...then take it out and IMMEDIATELY plug it in!⚡
helloI want to wash my arcade monitor and I was thinking about covering the pacifier hole so that no water gets in.Is it correct?
Hey! Absolutely NO need to. It goes nowhere. Its just a divot for the cup to latch on to.

Seriously, what doesn't Simple Green do? Clean arcade parts, degrease engines, kill bugs, defunkify car interiors, strip paint, freshen air...
They also make a clear aircraft grade version in a blue and white bottle that I also use in my ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning delicate things.
Dude forgot to reapply dielectric grease under the anode cap
Meh. Its never been an issue, and ive done literally hundreds of these now.
Some crypto miner did this with his GTX 's.... now on sale!!
