  • Live june 1991 in Doby Digital, 1st concert after James brown was released from prison.
It is not complete, look at the several video-responses i posted (right below the vid)
    Quote from www.cosmopolis.ch :
"In the summer of 1991, James Brown made his comeback on the scene of the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Together with a twelve-man band and a dynamic show, he enchanted a public which included Mick Jagger, Quincy Jones and MC Hammer."
Fore more background-info of James Brown and (several links to) his discography, look here:
    en.wikipedia.or...
and for a quick discopgraphy overview look here:

Wonder if it still is (a mans world).
Nevertheless great to listen to, James Brown is one of a kind...
Had this video private for 2 years after some claims (on another James Brown video) compromising my account, but i guess it is safe to assume this will be ok.
Note that i never intend to infring andy kind of copyright and all rights go to their respective parties. Plz contact me directly about any copyrights issue when needed. I am sure we can resolve the issue. Thnx

James actually became better with age in my opinion. His ability to dance wasn't there anymore but his voice seemed to get lower and even more soulful. This is vocal control. Everytime that I want to get blown away by a live performance I watch this!!! Amazing!!!

James never compromised on the amount of musicians he used in his bands... Always a full crew,as you can see...He even used 2-3 drummers,on the stage at once,as you can see...The payroll must have gave him a headache each week, but, that was his style... RIPJB

As a fellow Augusta, Ga entertainer, I had the pleasure of meeting and then knowing and becoming friends with James Brown. Not the come on over for supper friend but, the come on down and what did you think kind of friend. James was indeed the task Master. Everyone envied that he had a band as tight as The Soul Generals. Mas, God Bless him. By James' side till the end. Augusta didn t wait for death. A street, an Areana, and statue was in his honor. Now a place in our Museum. Miss ya friend

    Man's, Man's, Man's World"
    This is a man's world
    This is a man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl
    [Verse 1:]
You see, man made the car
To take us over the road
    Man made the train
    To carry the heavy load
    Man made the electrolight
To take us out of the dark
Man made the boat for the water
    Like Noah made The Ark
    This is a man's, man's, man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl
    [Verse 2:]
Man thinks about a little bit of baby girls and a baby boys
    Man make them happy
    'Cause man make them toys
    And after man make everything
    Everything he can
You know that man makes money
    To buy from other man
    This is a man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
    Not one little thing
Without a women or a girl
    He's lost in the wilderness
    He's lost in bitterness

James Brown, I love U man, not because U bought me an ice cream cone outside a Haagen-Daz in Beverly Hills when I went walkin by with my back-pack as a homeless person at that time, but cause U were & still are the Godfather of Soul. So much passion every time U sing no matter what U sing, the listener can't help but feel the love & be moved. Rock on James....

    On this day in 1966 {June 4th} "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" reached #1 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's R&B chart...
About one month earlier on April 30th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100; eventually it peaked at #8 and spent 9 in the Top 100...
James Brown passed away on Christmas Day of 2006 at the age of 73...
    May he R.I.P.
