James actually became better with age in my opinion. His ability to dance wasn't there anymore but his voice seemed to get lower and even more soulful. This is vocal control. Everytime that I want to get blown away by a live performance I watch this!!! Amazing!!!

Eh I agree but In the 50s and 60s his voice was outstanding

I think James Brown's vocals peaked in the 70s but were perfected and modified in the 1980 and early 90s

As a fellow Augusta, Ga entertainer, I had the pleasure of meeting and then knowing and becoming friends with James Brown. Not the come on over for supper friend but, the come on down and what did you think kind of friend. James was indeed the task Master. Everyone envied that he had a band as tight as The Soul Generals. Mas, God Bless him. By James' side till the end. Augusta didn t wait for death. A street, an Areana, and statue was in his honor. Now a place in our Museum. Miss ya friend

James never compromised on the amount of musicians he used in his bands... Always a full crew,as you can see...He even used 2-3 drummers,on the stage at once,as you can see...The payroll must have gave him a headache each week, but, that was his style... RIPJB

James Brown, I love U man, not because U bought me an ice cream cone outside a Haagen-Daz in Beverly Hills when I went walkin by with my back-pack as a homeless person at that time, but cause U were & still are the Godfather of Soul. So much passion every time U sing no matter what U sing, the listener can't help but feel the love & be moved. Rock on James....

    Man's, Man's, Man's World"
    This is a man's world
    This is a man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl
    [Verse 1:]
You see, man made the car
To take us over the road
    Man made the train
    To carry the heavy load
    Man made the electrolight
To take us out of the dark
Man made the boat for the water
    Like Noah made The Ark
    This is a man's, man's, man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl
    [Verse 2:]
Man thinks about a little bit of baby girls and a baby boys
    Man make them happy
    'Cause man make them toys
    And after man make everything
    Everything he can
You know that man makes money
    To buy from other man
    This is a man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
    Not one little thing
Without a women or a girl
    He's lost in the wilderness
    He's lost in bitterness

UA-camrs never fail to disappoint me. Good music everywhere yet every single good song... shit every video is just filled with people arguing thinking they will change another persons opinion. People are so egotistical both men and women we just show it differently.. Humans we think we got the power to change others with some violent words or actions. It takes much more than that to influence a mind. Makes me sad such a great gift as consciousness is mistreated daily.
