A team with two awful keepers zinchenko and jesus shouldn't be pushing the best team in the world to their limits
That villa game cost em badly
True but City winning there last 10 games every season makes it impossible
Nah, it was the 2 festive games that set them back. Should be beating WHU at home and Fulham away...
Or the other games they didn't win? At the end of the season, it's about your point total over 38 games. The Villa game was worth no more than the West Ham or Fulham games where Arsenal lost.
@@derp2438 stronger favourites in those 2 games than against Villa. Way bigger shocks.
115 FC just ends up winning every game in the second half of the season so you have to beat them and not drop any further points, which isn’t realistic

@threeone117 , you talk as though he is buying the best player from every team to compete in the league. After the initial splash of cash when Pep came in, they have been spending fairly less compared to other clubs.

I never thought I would hear Roy Keane say CITY are the best team to grace the Premier League ! Blue Moon 💙
Going for the title against City is heart wrenching, when you do your part an still be wanting, for 2 seasons it hurt Liverpool by just 1point
Look if Arsenal don’t win the league and it ends on 89 and City get 91 then I won’t be shouting and hollering. I want them to go get a striker and wherever else they need. At this point it’s about creating more ways to come at a game and outdo your opponents.
The only thing that separates Arsenal and City if both teams win every game is Arsenal has 5 draws and 5 losses vs City’s 7 draws and 3 losses.
What caused those losses rather than draws, and draws rather than wins was mainly due to the lack of ability to put the ball in the net during certain parts of the season.
If Arsenal did not go through spats of the season where they seemed physically unable to score like against Villa both times or when they played West Ham or such, this league would pretty much be wrapped up by now.
But that’s not how football works unfortunately and Arsenal suffered because of it.
That being said, what I now think Arsenal really needs to push to the very top is someone who you can count on to pull them up with a goal when the chips are down and a couple quality backups for some key positions. For example, Saka is brilliant but is being run into the ground.
Can’t expect a team to go 100% the whole season, they hit form at the right time and arsenal did, since February they’ve been amazing. City winning the league will come down to days like today, where Forrest had the better chances but didn’t take them and city looked off but still win 0-2
Same can't be said of City??
@@NATAR160 Well for 1, City are the top
But also City’s issue this season seems to be that if they aren’t controlling all the ball and aren’t attacking all the time, their defence is honestly fairly average.
Saka is playing way too many minutes---as are Saliba, Gabriel, Ode, Rice. to compete in Europe & for the league, let alone domestic cup comps, you need a deep bench, a quality backup at every position. Arteta needs to learn to rotate. we should sell every player who's either injury-prone or Arteta doesn't trust.
I think we need pace on the wings to back up Saka! Giving him a rest next season will be crucial
Arsenal play beautiful football consistently in 2 seasons now. But I still feel it's over with City winning the league, Arsenal finishing second and Liverpool third, while Aston Villa closing up on fourth place at the end of the season.👌
no excuses for Arsenal. Liverpool lost the league to City by one point twice. With 97 and 92 points. However they still managed to win the league with 99 points and they won the Champions league in the City era. Arsenal must have the standards to do the same

Where do Arsenal go if they don't win the league? They go again. It's as simple as that. This is not a suicide mission that once this season is over that's it.
Even if they win the league, can you retain it? Wenger never did it?

That comment from Merson on Raya's mistake is genuinely the reason I believe there isn't a single English manager at the top level of the game. You constantly hear captain hindsight in the British media "he should have cleared it", "time and a place". He's been watching Arsenal all season and still deosnt understand that these tops teams have a clear identity and they dont have an inconsistent manager on the sidelines chopping amd changing his mantra. This was an execution error from Raya, not an ideology error. The latter is far more damaging!
Interesting point and I'm not saying I think you're wrong on the ideology aspect, but I would say yes and no on Raya's error. Thats what they will regret come May. Villa loss will haunt them.
@@alfieburns8931
One which goes against a weakened Bayern Munich. Bayern dropped 10 points in their opening 6 games. Not even during the Liverpool banter era did they drop that much. Bayern had massive injury list and finished not second but third with 40 goals conceded.
The next season Bayern still had injuries and had 7 losses.
In both seasons dortmund didn’t have the top scorer in their team showing it was a fluke. Bayern leverkusen have already matched doetmunds best title winning total and they have marches to spare! Both then and Bayern have beaten Klopps title winning points total showing they were better. Bayern Munich never got 7 losses again since 2011 showing they were fluke seasons.
The man who got Mainz relegated always relies on flukes. Now he’s known for 1 league title since 1990. Think about how much money was spent and how long he stayed with Liverpool and he got 1 league title against one of the worst premier league squads overall in history. Even 4th place had double digit losses! Third place were 15 points behind signifying the weakening of the league. How did Liverpool do the season after ? 🤣
This season we have atleast 2 good squads and Liverpool cannot compete at all for the title.
Couldn't agree less with Paul Merson
Learning from wins, losses and draws explains why our attack goes stale and ineffective during matches. The lack of adaptation Arteta is why we aren't 10 points clear. Only divine intervention can save us now 😭🙌🏾
I disagree with Merson. If that's how Arteta wants him to play, he's got to do it every time. They are going to concede goals but look how many they've scored. To be critical or Arsenal today is very harsh. They did the opposite from bottling it
New keeper or Ramsdale. Apparently none played the game themselves...havi g a look at the still far to positif comments about the spanish minnow.
One of the greatest teams- backed for 10 years with NO FFP- implications- 🤣🤣🤣= I would so LOVE Arsenal to win it. CHEATING eventually gets caught out
Exactly 💯
Cry me a river😂😂😂 This isn't enough
If Arsenal miss out by a game this year you know Arsenal fans will talk about progress and how it's definitely happening next year especially without Klopp in the mix...scary thing I think will actually be the reality? City look nowhere near their usual levels this year, they're still coasting in 3rd gear when we've been expecting them to hit 5th back in February, I'd be scared of the level City might push up to next year when Arsenal look like this is their top.
I remember Gary Neville saying this exact same thing two years ago when Arsenal missed out on top 4 and yet here we are today. One thing Arteta has shown is that he keeps improving as a manager with the squad as well. Every year since his appointment, the team has gotten better and the points total and League position shows it.
@@mannyxander4456It shows nothing if you can't win
@@Jacob56-xl4xo jealousy people everywhere lol make your team win it
@@mannyxander4456 I mean Gary Neville isn't a bastion of great opinions to try and say him being wrong proves anything. I don't think anyone would have said 2 years ago that Arsenal can't still move up the league it was just more questionable and unknown then. Now however we've seen that this team needs rest during the season because it has dips, we've seen players like Saka getting burned out, they're running on fumes. That doesn't mean they can't win a league in the future if Man City have an off year but the difference you can obviously tell with City and Arsenal is that City are still looking out of sorts and not quite right, Arsenal look like the finished article which should worry people for next season if City get back to their treble form.
This isn't their top though and we will strengthen significantly over the summer. Cope more
At the end of the season, the only thing you can do is look back at the opportunities you missed, games like Fulham, Newcastle, Aston Villa etc, easy games on paper, but still managed to lose them.
How can you call those teams easy games ? Do you know how much newcastle and Aston villa have spent ? Emery has won 3 Europa leagues . There are no easy games in EPL

Cry 😆 😆 😆
Their not the greatest team we've ever seen, they're the greatest squad
😐
greatest squad ,who would bench leihman, ashley cole, viera, sol campbell, henry, pires in this current man city squad?
If they do the 4peat, they will be the greatest ever. And I doubt that record will be broken in our generation
Bro trying to be deep 😂😂😭
When he said “free” repeatedly did he mean “three”?
Remember though when city first won the title they barely crossed the line. That led to end in domination by Man Utd. Arsenal needs to get over the line somehow the first time.
If this Arsenal team were a player, it would be Harry Kane
At 23
HARRY KANE MAY WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WITH BAYERN MUNICH

Paul Merson: "They might of"
What arsenal should do is stop loosing to small teams that has been our Achilles heel over seasons
Dawson upset and bitter - then again, he doesn’t know what it takes to win a title so understandable tbf.
What do you need to win? A lot of unaccounted for money? Everyone knows that.
City are expected to not draw or lose one of their last 4 games. I know last year was a treble and they overcame all odds. I just think City will drop points and arsenal will win
What did you think when arsenal were leading by 8 points ? 😂 I want to know if your predictions are accurate 😂
No matter what Arsenal are here to stay. They will be even stronger next year. Timber will be like a new signing and who knows what theyll do im the transfer window. I say keep Partey, extend Jorgi, sell ESR, Eddie, Reiss. Go for a top class striker and you should be able to compete again.
Pardon me.....but we are not talking about the greatest team ever......
6 out of 7 Prems and potentially 4 in a row. Sounds like we do blud.
Approaching 4 league titles in a row….. if they do it I don’t think we’ll ever see it done again
If they win the Premier league that will be the 4th in a row which makes them the greatest ever
@@TheWefikusthere European success isn’t enough to be the greatest team ever

Name one of those 115💀
feels like aresenal will finish 2nd its like they are taking the place of liverpool during their best efforts against city who came 2nd by just a point twice! luckily klopp got 1 premier league out of this unbelievable juggernaut of a team under pep, i believe arsenal will get a premier league eventually, you just need to win all the games stay consistant tilll the end lol
Arsenal are unbeaten against the Top 6 this season, highest scoring and best defensive team (conceded the least) in the league and they could still lose the league. Incredible. Aston Villa have won City the league, what they have done to both City and Arsenal is impressive.
Think you mean "Big" 6 not Top 6. They've lost to Villa twice this season
Arsenal are up against the greatest cheats we've ever seen
Of course they cheat made them lost 2 nill at home against Villa 😂😂
I am tired of man city wining the league. Arsenal deserve to be champions.
The winners deserve to be champions
Speak 2 the premier League director and ask him politely please sir can you let Arsenal win the premier league this year tell him you like saka because he's got a high work ethic
The team that finish with the most points will deserve to champions who ever that may be 😊
@@manvhestercity1894 oh yeh I forgot it's a point system
No one so-called "deserves" to win anything - you have to fight it in soccer and life in general.
City amazing, brilliant team 😅
This is a young Arsenal team, they’re not going anywhere for now. If they don’t win the league they’ll come back next season.
City the greatest team you've ever seen? 2009-2011 Barca would destroy them. Even now, they can't beat Real Madrid. We keep saying Premier League teams are the best, but don't prove it in Europe.
Be serious this team is the biggest in England and even arguably in the world though Madrid also in it but who knows if they lose to Bayern.
He said "one of"
What the hell????? Madrid did win on penalty shout out,... which is luck bcoz it could have gone either way
It is very difficult to focus and have results in both competitions at the same time because the Premier League is by far the best league in the world. For that you need to be perfect, almost flawless and you also need a lot of luck
"Destroy"🤦♂️ when was the last time you saw city lose by more than a goal. Its hilarious how people think teams in the past were invincible. It would be a very close fight.
