My goal is to exercise again. I hadn’t been exercising at all but when quarantine started I had more time. I started cycling and doing yoga most days and it makes me feel so productive. Even just doing 10 minutes of yoga is SO GOOD.

Ooooo those are hard BUT attainable! Once you've done it consistently daily for like 21 days it just becomes habit. I used to walk daily. Early morning before work & sometimes I'd also go in the evening because I started to actually enjoy it & want to do it! As for the falling asleep thing... I used to struggle with that hardcore. I would always doze off sitting/laying on the couch. Any time of day but especially in the evening. However, if I nap I will be up most of the night or fall asleep before 11pm, I will wake up a few hours later because my body thinks it was a nap. My advice, don't sit anywhere that is comfortable enough to fall asleep. If it's midday, find something to do. Organize something, clean something, i can always find something large or small. If it's getting late in the day or anytime I feel even slightly tired, I will NOT go to the couch or to my room if it's not bed time. I'll sit at the kitchen table & read stuff, watch UA-cam, tiktok or scroll thru social media. I have been very successful taking these steps.

I finally started writing a book at the beginning of the year. Something I've been trying to do for 6 years. Im almost at the ending but I hit a wall/life happened & I stopped 2 months ago. The more I dont get back to it, the more of a creative funk & depressed I get about it thinking it's not good enough & I should just stop. This video really gave me the motivation to get back to it. I love when the internet is wholesome! Just reading peoples goals for the week is so encouraging somehow, knowing I’m not the only one who has to consciously set goals for “simple” things like chores, self care, etc. Last week I got really inspired to step outside my comfort zone more for the sake of my mental health. It’s tricky to socialize during quarantine but as an introvert I almost need socializing more than an extrovert, in the sense that it’s easier for me to let it go for so long that I really start to suffer the consequences of social isolation. Thanks for all the encouragement from Colleen and all the comments to set little steppingstone goals, a week at a time!

You got this! It’s so relieving to get homework done. I use to be SUCH a procrastinator lol. Now that I’m getting my work done on time and I’m on a schedule, I still have this feeling that I’m missing something or running out of time to turn something in (due to my terrible procrastination). I’m still trying to deal with the stress from those “late” assignments, but I’m getting better with it :) Also! Reading is a really great way to keep your mind busy but be relaxed. Reading is so relaxing :) Just try to not make it forced. I’ve realized that if my mind gets bored of reading, it’ll start to play a song or think of something random lol. If I try to force myself to ignore it and keep reading, I’ll get a really bad headache. You’ve got this though! Good luck :)

You’ve got this! I’m doing the same goal :) Just try and make your bed as soon as you wake up. It’ll help you not just fall back asleep, and it’ll get it out of the way. As you’re getting ready for bed, pick up the misplaced items/trash around your room. It’ll help keep it tidy without having to do a deep clean every week or two.

Ooo, I love bullet journaling (I don’t do it myself but I know it’s really relaxing and a great venting place for those who do). You’ve got this! It’ll be so satisfying to flip through the pages (or idk how you’re doing it) and seeing that you wrote so much.

Goal: make art for my family for Christmas presents
I love when the internet is wholesome! Just reading peoples goals for the week is so encouraging somehow, knowing I’m not the only one who has to consciously set goals for “simple” things like chores, self care, etc. Last week I got really inspired to step outside my comfort zone more for the sake of my mental health. It’s tricky to socialize during quarantine but as an introvert I almost need socializing more than an extrovert, in the sense that it’s easier for me to let it go for so long that I really start to suffer the consequences of social isolation. Thanks for all the encouragement from Colleen and all the comments to set little steppingstone goals, a week at a time!

You got this! It’s so relieving to get homework done. I use to be SUCH a procrastinator lol. Now that I’m getting my work done on time and I’m on a schedule, I still have this feeling that I’m missing something or running out of time to turn something in (due to my terrible procrastination). I’m still trying to deal with the stress from those “late” assignments, but I’m getting better with it :) Also! Reading is a really great way to keep your mind busy but be relaxed. I hope you are able to achieve your goal!
My goal: read an hour everyday and clean my bathroom drawers and cabinets
Reading is so relaxing :) Just try to not make it forced. I’ve realized that if my mind gets bored of reading, it’ll start to play a song or think of something random lol. If I try to force myself to ignore it and keep reading, I’ll get a really bad headache. You’ve got this though! Good luck :)
I love every second of your vlogs, they keep me going through these dark times. I love seeing Flynn grow and you should stop being so hard on yourself, you’re an amazing mum and an inspiration to many. But my advice could he to set smaller goals and set yourself mini milestones every day. Like I have to set a milestone to bloody take my cups downstairs lol, you’re doing amazing and I’m so proud of you. Take care x

You’ve got this! I’m doing the same goal :) Just try and make your bed as soon as you wake up. It’ll help you not just fall back asleep, and it’ll get it out of the way. As you’re getting ready for bed, pick up the misplaced items/trash around your room. It’ll help keep it tidy without having to do a deep clean every week or two.

I love this!! I’m the same way, I’m so motivated and I’m so committed to my goals and lately.. I’ve had so much going on AND I just moved, SO my goal this week, by the end of the week, I’d love to finally unpack and set up and organize my home, basically stop living out of boxes. Every day I’ll do one task, unpack the living room, laundry, organizing the kitchen or the bedrooms!
