I live in Oklahoma City and there is also the Kirkpatrick Planetarium within the Science Museum, Firefighters Museum, Remington Racetrack, Oklahoma City Zoo, Sam Noble Museum in Norman as well as the University of Oklahoma and the Sooners, The Womb, a psychedelic arts center, American Banjo Museum, 99s Museum of Women Pilots, Riversport Adventures and Rapids in the Boathouse district downtown OKC, as well as Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Bricktown. OKC has LOTS of stuff to see and do, this is just a sampling and doesn't include the myriad of attractions from surrounding towns.

Mattie's Catz! I agree, I live in Yukon, and I think that he could’ve also put Nics in there instead of Tucker’s, don’t get me wrong Tucker’s is very good but Nics is just more iconic and has been featured on TV

You forgot just talking to people. I love being from Oklahoma because everyone that I know from out of state (trust me, I lived in Anaheim, CA as a kid) tells me they love the people. You walk by anyone and they smile at you. Very friendly and very helpful if you need them. Every time I’ve ever been in a sticky situation on the road or just in general someone will offer to help in no time. We aren’t considered the south but we sure do have the best southern hospitality type.

I was ready to criticize your picks. But this was a great list. Some other great place to visit would be 45th Infantry Division Museum and train museum, the science museum is more kids oriented but actually very impressive. Cafe Cacao is a Latin cuisine brunch place in central okc that is amazing and was featured on the travel channel. Guthrie has cool shops and historical homes.

You missed out on highlighting some of the best local districts for food and entertainment like The Plaza, Paseo/23rd Street, Automobile Alley, Film Row and Midtown. Most of the best food and drink options are tucked away in those districts that surround downtown. Other than that, I think most OKC residents would agree with a lot of this list. Probably favoring many other districts over Bricktown though.

I'm from Moore and work downtown pretty nice representation. Those Lake Hefner trails are eventually going to connect through all of okc to each of the municipal lakes. by bicycle you can travel from Hefner to Overholser and to the downtown area along the river.

As a person that lives close to OKC. I highly recommend you to try Cattlemen’s Cafe. It’s like the best steakhouse that you’ve ever been to. My favorite steak to get is T-bone steak. To be fair, the lamb fries are the best appetizer to ever get there.

There is a new park at the Scissortail Bridge area in OKC. Lots of other things as MattieB says below. I love the Cattlemen's and have eaten there for over 50 years. My wife and I had Prime Rib there on our 50th anniversary. El Reno is the home of the onion burger, BTW. Nice video and I am watching all your route 66 vids too

The Omni Plex is very cool and right next to the Zoo, which is also very cool. As previously stated the 45th infantry Museum is very interesting if you are interested in WW2 artifacts and houses the most Nazi artifacts outside of Germany. I can remember when the downtown area around the river walk was nothing but skid row bums and derelict buildings back in the 80's MAN how things have changed!! Toby Keiths is a must-visit restaurant in OKC. Cattlemans is overpriced and not the best steak house, just sayin. I have yet to go to the new Memorial in the downtown area, I was there in the late 90's after the bombing but there was not a museum at that time. The Cowboy Hall of Fame or whatever it's called these days is very cool!! Thanks for the upload!!

The "milk bottle building" as you called it is NOT on Route 66. It's on N Classen Blvd 400ft North northwest of NW 23rd St. and it's actually called Milk Bottle Grocery. And then there's the historic Gold Dome which is on the southeastern corner of the NW 23rd & N Classen Blvd intersection. Also right in that same area is an Amazing sandwich shop called Some Place Else
