I had the opportunity to buy a W650 new here in the states back in 2001, I didn't because at the time I didn't like the look of the bevel drive. Now 20 years later I have the opportunity to buy a w800. I won't be making the same mistake twice.
At least this made a change from the 'Man in grimy garage downs tools and gets aboard his old bike which magically turns into a new one' fare. Japan looks beautiful in this video. I wonder how many times they had to shoot those drone pass overs?
As do, it's not like I want sport bike power, and many people will say it's not necessary on this kind of motorcycle, but its pleasant to just have that additional 'oomph' that an extra 10-30hp would give, especially when travelling on highways, carrying loads and/or taking pillions.
Very nice vidéo. And very cute bike even if it's 2000€ too expensive for a stripped bike in France in my view. 1:38 A Fuji X100F would have fit better with the W800 style than the XT3 in my opinion. Too bad.

@@KAZEdays You haven't ridden it obviously, prodigious torque makes up for it. It actually is much faster than on paper.
