Before it was the opposite. I bought my first house in 2004 and my interest rate was 6% out the gate as a first time home buyer. Granted had no help and no clue what I was doing. I’m on my third home now looking to sell and buy my forever home. I’m so much more knowledgeable now thanks to videos like yours!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I purchased my first home with my VA loan while still in the Army in 2004. Now I'm under contract on my forever and also 4th home!🇺🇸✌️

Hey Jen! My seller wrote their contract April 2024 before the law changed. I wasn't given anything about me paying my agents commission. This is also not listed in any of my cost of closing costs.
The only thing I signed was something that stated if I purchased the property within the next 6 months I had to use that agent.❤️🇺🇸✌️

Can you do a video on which states offer the most for veterans when buying home. Such as like tax

There wont be much competition out in the market because rates are increasing, home values will sky rocket, insurance and taxes will almost be double the cost of the principle mortgage payment plus interest. With so many possible and mentioned impacts heading towards VA funding, severe rise in inflation, big businesses buying up the more desirable properties and listing them only as rentals.... I would not advise ANY veterans to buy a property this year. No sense in becoming house poor when all the signs to take a detour are there. You can do a one month or even one property agreement with an agent... If they refuse to do it for one showing (and if you purchase that house, they would be the agent), then walk away and interview at least 3 other agents with different situations that may come up during the process. The NAR has messed up things for agents as well as buyers and sellers... So until the market has come to its senses... keep saving up the money and wait.
