ANTOINE BRUMEL { Nogent-le-Rotrou 1460-1513 Nogent-le-Rotrou } - " MISSA ET ECCE TERRAE MOTUS II GLORIA " PETER PHILLIPS & THE TALLIS SCHOLARS. Quelle merveille, ensemble vocales grandiose bravo. Quelle chef-d'oeuvre sublime merci.
I played Civ on the Playstation way back when, and what stopped me from playing for more than three hours was the fact that a save filled an entire memory card.
@helpermethod you made me laugh. a lot. i went to 6:30 and imagined yor face haha it's like the best part of the partition, its so victorious and perfect
@Grahckheuhl i'd have to agree, console games bought thier consoles for fasted paced, accessible games, even halo wars, an rts made for the console, influnced by console games, and still didn't do so well, but im a console player who will forever love CIV :D
Civ IV made me re-evaluate religion as an integral part of human culture at least, regardless of belief: values have always their place in the history of mankind, and that is what makes us really different from animals.

@fizzypopism Or people just think you as being strange for liking it in a video game, but not having listened to it from a radio. I don't understand the difference either, so long as the piece is being appreciated in the way it was intended to.
Civ 4 aided me in becoming Catholic. I saw the beauty of Catholicism and how it helped develop the western world. It perfected civilization the romans gave us and then it preserved that perfection. It was only protestantism that wrecked it. The music helped me think about the glory of God and how thats only reflected in traditional Catholic music.
@@nated2115 Perfection is but the best of what we can do for ourselves and for others. I see nothing wrong with someone's idea of perfection being the piety of a religion or the culture it fosters.
@trexattack It was overall a very poorly made game. They didn't keep it to how Civilization should be either, but I'm thinking it's perhaps they thought console-players wouldn't enjoy this type of game. Typically they don't, either.
@Grahckheuhl ahh i see console players dont like these kind of games(bad made) exept almost the whole call of duty comunity since that bullshit keeps the same never any inprovements and yet its "the best shooter series of all time"

Le compositeur de cette piece venait de Nogent le Rotrou ?
@@pm40394 Vous venez de m'apprendre quelque chose de très intéressant. Je ne regarderais plus cette petite place de la même façon .
"Tu solus Dominus, Tu solus altissimus,
Gesu Cristi
Cum Sancti Spiritu,
In gloria Dei Patris.
Amen."
My favorite part of the Gloria is at the ending.
Old vocal music completely hypnotizes me. It's a problem, I want to see what the rest of the soundtrack is.
Amazing music, thank you for uploading. Maybe I should play Civ IV again.
Bravo! Cheers from Brazil

from 6:26 is the best part IMO

Thank you, Grahckeuhl.
@trexattack
They tried making a Civilization game for consoles. It flopped terribly.
@Grahckheuhl oh i didnt knew that...why did it got screwd up?
what a great game. BUt I dont remember listening to this tracks..Maybe because in options i did not use the music, dont knwo
great game
if they did, they would't be console players...
:)
oh yes, thanx man, this is wonderful.

Catholics “perfecting civilization” ok buddy

Sorry to hear that.
Glad you liked the game though.
Mankind will fail cause of religious and political dogma
they should make an xbox version for this game...
well, they kind of did, Civilization Revolutions. for the XBox 360.
Civilization came out for the SNES and Civilization II for the Playstation. They are ok games, but nothing like the computer ports.
its sad too because they based civ 5's gameplay on revolution which is why i despise civ 5 so much.
SkyrimEs5
Lmao now the general sentiment is "civ 5 is godly civ 6 is shit". Things really change.
As someone who never liked 5 and a long standing civ 4 player it's interesting to watch the newer civ fans argue about what was 'canon'
I still mod the shit the out of CivIII and prefer it over IV, even. Long Live CivIII!
Fucking hell
