I turned 13 a few days ago. I'm still here...through it all. Through my depression, through my anxiety, through my overthinking, through my stress, God wanted me to stay here. He knows I'm still in pain. He needs me to hang in there for longer. He wants me for some good reason, and I know he needs me for my family.
...hey 13, you're loved, wanted, needed. we're here for you. the best way to get out of a funk is to extend yourself by fulfilling a need somewhere. I did it by driving a church bus picking up the elderly, kids, disabled and bringing them to church. they loved me for it but they saved my life. yes He knows, love God serve His people.

I lost my dad on September 3rd, 2020. Just a day before my 34th birthday. My dad was a pastor, for 25 years. This song takes me back to when his ministry started. I was only 7 and, I knew how to play 3 chords on a guitar my dad had bought me. All I wanted was to praise the Lord, and my dad encouraged me. With the years, I became a worship leader and, I served the ministry alongside my dad. I miss him so much, but I keep singing God’s praises and, I remember when we sang and played in that old church.

I prayed this prayer during a relationship with a girl. I felt anxiety throughout the relationship and kept playing this song every night. 2 weeks later the girl ended the relationship, leaving me broken and confused. I then ran to drugs, pornography, and success to fill the void. None of it worked and then quarantine hit. And when quarantine hit it helped realize that I was building my life on falling sand, so I finally gave my life to God. Fast forward to now, I can listen to this song and look back on that time when I was praying for God to put me in the fire, GOD IS SO GOOD. I'm praying the same prayer now but this time I'm living for God and wanting Him to use me to impact people for His kingdom.

My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

When I read this I cried. I lost my baby too at 21 weeks. It was the darkest and hardest time of my life, I cried day in and out, I blamed myself, the doctor and was mad at god too. Oh how could he give me such a blessing then rip it out from under me. I got to a point where I stopped praying for a while but I couldn’t stay away for too long. I recently started praying but even harder and more frequently and now I love god so much because at the end of my hurt I found peace. Through prayer and loving god so much, slowly but steadily finding my confidence back and I have faith I will conceive and bring forth life after my pain. Have faith sis. Wipe the tears so you can see his blessings and experience his miracles.

I love Lord Jesus. He is my saviour. When I was 7, my family and I went on a vacation and I didn't know the swimming pool is deep, then I jumped into the swimming pool. When I realised the water is deep, I was struggling and in fear. Then God came. A stranger was sent by God and saved me. He carried me up the pool. I thanked the man for saving me. My parents were taking photos there and did not notice that I was in trouble. I am grateful that God turned me into such a lovely person. Jesus Christ, we love you because you first loved us! When I saw Dante Bowe perform at my church with Eddie James group a few years back, I knew God had destined him for great things. He was singing “Grace” and to me he sang like that was the last time he was ever going to sing. His love and passion for the Lord He stood out above the rest.
My friend Josh bought a cheap guitar & barely knew how to play it, He wasn't putting on a show, wasn't well known, wasn't trying to be famous.

Now in my 40s, moving the UK in 1999, as teanage we used to have a group of girls between 12 to 18 lead by my late pastor's wife, the meeting was evey Saturday and Sunday singing to the Lord, praying reading God's word, although this was back in Africa (DRC congo) this song reminds me of those beautiful moments in God's presence which has shaped my life for good I thank Jesus Christ for his goodness. The best gift parents can give to they children is to show them the way of the Lord and thank God for my mother.
