Wow! This song speaks to my oldest son who fell away from the Lord. As a mother, I have been praying and fasting for many years for him. Matthew is now back at home coming to church with us. He heard a song on the radio that spoke to him. We found the song Voice of God and he said “That’s it mom!” Then we found this one! Thank God for musicians like yourself!

I am writing this with tears streaming down my face as I hear words that I was feeling but did not know how to express. In 2007 I went completely blind and that's when God 1st brought heaven into my heart. When I say "I once was blind but now I see" I'm not quoting scripture or singing a song, I'm giving a testimony. Now, the storm has risen again, on 11/15/19 I was in a really bad car accident, told on 12/26/19 I would not walk again, so I went back to my first love and on 01/23/29, I was given a PT Referral by my orthopedic surgeon to begin weight bearing walking again. "You don't have to beg, He wants to give it to you anyway" Moves me to my core every time. It's such a new concept for me. I believed for such a long time that I would have to prostrate myself, say a million prayers, and cry tears in order for me to get into a position where I could ask for something. A part of this was also selfish, the Lord helped me to realize that. I was going about it in such a twisted way because I wanted my will and my way. Basically I was treating God like an idol or how other religions treat their gods; if I perform this act then I will get the answer I want, the request I desire. I was trying to use God to control my circumstances instead of letting Him be in control of them. I mean, it's not like He ever lost control, but I'm now acknowledging it and trying to surrender. Here's where the original line comes into play. On the flip side I also thought that I could "maintain" my salvation by doing the same things mentioned before. Truly a twisted, warped way of thinking, but I know God is healing me and restoring my mind. This healing, this grace and mercy that He wants to give me, He gives in full without merit or effort on my part. It's another thing that I am wrestling with, and He so often has to remind me. I’m literally in tears! God used this song to minister to my spirit just now! I’ve been feeling distant from the Lord in my heart and have been having a hard time hearing His voice as much as I used to, but God just reminded me through this song that He wants to be close.. He wants to speak to us! He wants to reveal His heart to us! I receive a fresh start in my relationship with Jesus, in Jesus name! I thank the Lord that He WANTS to give one to us.. that we don’t have to beg, but just receive it! THANK YOU JESUS. How amazing is it that we get to be called His children. I’m in awe! 💛 Definitely adding this to my daily lists of songs that I play. Keep them coming! God’s Spirit is so heavy in every song.
