This is the most inspiring thing I’ve watched on UA-cam. I’m in the exact same boat. 2 kids, settled into a “good” job. Now I’m 29 and realizing there’s only one life. I’ll never forgive myself if I don’t try. Nowadays with social media you never know what can happen. Thank you for this

This has been my favourite episode so far. Both inspiring and informative. It makes me look at my music in a completely different way. Thank-you gentlemen! Now off to check out song town

TAXI question: Once your track has been "Forwarded" to a music library, how long should you wait (with no contact from the library) before submitting that song to other opportunities (in and out of Taxi)? Of course you want the track to be available if that library is interested, but how long should you wait before you accept that they are not going to contact you for that track? Tracks in modern genres do have a shelf-life before they are less relevant.

Until you sign a contract with that first company, you should never NOT submit it to any other listing. It could be years by the time they contact you; best case scenario, you sign it with someone else, tell them it's no longer available, and they ask if you have something similar (or completely different for another project). Of course you say yes, and then you've landed two deals. :-)

Submit it everywhere you can. If the first company wants it after somebody else has signed it, you can always create more tracks that are similar (and maybe even better).

I was bit disappointed in the song Marty chose to sing... why wasn't he sued for copying "Another Saturday Night"??? I am perplexed. The chord structure, melody and rhythm were identical.
