    Clip 1: - YF14 WLZ, YF14WLZ, YF14-WLZ Black Audi A1 Sport (ugly little road menace) beams passed me way too close eliciting a shocked and vulgar response - just come down out of the dales on a long ride, beautiful roads - Then YD18 DTT, YD18DTT, YD18-DTT Black Isuzu D-Max scrapes by me giving me a fright. I believe I utter "It just get's tiresome".
    Clip 2: EY67 YHS, EY67YHS, EY67-YHS Blue golf squeezes me on a traffic island.... moments later I'm passed very considerately by a massive lorry. Showing up the little golf chav with their awareness.

    What cameras do you use? Do you have three? Where is the best position if you just want to have one for reporting worst overtakes? Stay safe. Drivers don't seem to care anymore.

      Thanks mate, yeah the apathy towards cyclist safety from some folk out there is just so irksome...
      Hmmm, I did own 3, but the rear facing cam from my earlier videos is still with cycliq for repairs. I started with the handlebar cam which is a cycliq fly12 ce... it's great as it is also a really versatile light and has amazing battery strength. It also records footage continuously, overlapping the oldest footage. Only problem with this is, it doesn't capture details such as phone use or if people are gesturing from their cars at you, which a helmet cam does capture. The helmet cam I use is the Drift Innovations, Ghost X - better fitted to helmets than action cam style setups, and I use tagging on this, which means it is constantly recording but only saves footage if you press the button... it captures a preset amount of time before and after you press. I have mine set to 1 min, so each clip is 2 mins long with the incident I want to capture occurring in the middle... the benefit of the helmet cam is it points where you are looking, so for instance you can see how often you are shoulder checking, which means you're demonstrating an awareness of what's around you... footage from a helmet cam makes you look like you are travelling a lot slower than you actually are though, I suppose because it's so much higher than the road. Using two cams like this is a bit of a "belts and braces" approach. One thing I've not tried which has the best of both worlds is a torso mounted camera. These produce footage that is consistent with the actual experience of riding a bike and allow you to angle the camera to capture incidents not just directly ahead.
      Hope that helps you decide.

      @@MiseEnZheng hi, what’s the battery life for the drift x?

      @@henrycarter2235 it's not bad at all. I'd say it's one of the stand out benefits of this camera over other cams in a similar price range.

    You should ride a little wider, take a road more, not few cm from the left.

    Is that all you do all day just ride around looking to create situations to film

    • @MiseEnZheng
      @MiseEnZheng  3 роки тому +6

      I'd love to ride my bike all day, it's a hobby I'm passionate about. But no, sadly I only ride my bike when there's a place I need to go, a medium to long distance and I want to get there faster than I would in a car or on public transport.
      I didn't create any of these situations. The drivers did. Dave, you are so unbelievably thick. You don't know the first thing about roads.

      How is he creating situations to film? Is he using a Jedi mind trick to make the drivers that he can’t see because they are behind him , close pass him? Are you really this thick Brooks or you actually pretending to be one on the thickest people in Britain? Absolute cretin

    Get an e-bike dude! I know you ignored the suggestion last time, but please consider it. I fear for your life!

      E-bike? In Poland You have speed limit 25 km/h in your e-bike (by law). Don’t know how it is in Gb. Of course you can upgrade it, but technically typical e-bike with such speed limit is not better than a road bike. Actually a road bike can be sometimes faster than a scooter.;)
